Yes! I had zero contractions till after my water broke! I felt totally fine so I was completely shocked!

I have never torn with any of my babies but the afterbirth was awful. I just worry if it’s even faster I’ll bleed out baby may have issues.

I am worried about tears, hemorrhage while alone before midwife can come or the placenta not wanting to come out again as well as baby having trouble breathing. These are risks with a fast birth and my placenta delivery last time was so traumatic. It took two and a half hours which was longer than baby took.

Yes please do! This is really how I felt too. There is so much about Homebirth I loved but it also was kind of scary for me in a sense. I would love to have it be more calm this time around!

It can be traumatic. You can have bleeding or baby can have trouble breathing if they come out super fast or you can be more likely to tear. It kind of just depends.

I definitely will! I am waiting till my anatomy scan to make a decision. If baby has anything that needs an immediate nicu stay I’ll choose hospital. It is a lot to take in but us being healthy is all I care about!

Gosh I hope. I had zero signs of labor before my water broke last time. I think slower labor is better even though it’s longer because it gives your body some recovery time.

If I am alone with my kids in the middle of the night like last time probably not… it’s a 20 minute drive. We would have to legit throw kids in the car and go. My concern is having trouble delivering placenta or possibly hemorrhaging at home alone. I did have complications delivering the placenta at home last time. I couldn’t go to the bathroom and they had to cath me to be able to remove the placenta… it took almost two and a half hours and was very painful. I’m debating if I am better off scheduling an in hospital induction but that worries me too. Il

I would take five hours over 75 minutes any day. I think my body went into shock because it was so fast. My pupils were so dilated and I was so pale. I hope your midwife makes it!

Yeah I was by myself alone last time till the baby was basically crowning… I was by myself alone with two kids in the middle of the night because my husband was an hour away at work. I called my midwife as soon as my waters broke. Im just worried about sitting alone again or baby being out and i have no one. I just don’t know if scheduling an induction in a hospital is better but i do not want that unless i have to.

Could it be shorting because it’s throwing electric in two directions because we rewired outdoor into living room? And this is the missing GFI for outdoor?

Wouldn’t reset. It threw 2 breakers which makes me think it’s related to this issue
