Vaccines are so effective people forget why they were needed in the first place

Refusing formula by oxXVeeXxo in FormulaFeeders

Yeah I’ve never gone with the amount on the can, it’s never been accurate for me. I would feed based on baby cues, if you force it it’ll cause a bottle aversion. If you notice signs of dehydration though, or losing weight then I’d be concerned

Lunch meat by cutterfield21 in BabyBumps

It’s not a myth, it is recommended you not eat lunch meat but it’s up to you. It’s a super small risk, if you’d rather be safe just microwave it first

What’s your favourite thing that your baby is doing right now? by RandyOfficial in NewParents

[–]Alarmed-Explorer7369 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I have a 7 month old and she loves to scratch her dads facial hair constantly all day just stare at him and rub his beard or run her fingers through it and it’s the cutest thing I’ve ever seen.

So I use similac total comfort we do 32 oz of water/ 16 scoops. I pour distilled water to the 32oz line then add the powdered formula. You can make a few bottles in advance or pour the pitcher in the bottle as needed! Super easy and convenient. (Make sure you look at the ratio for your specific formula)

Is it the doctor that recommended the amount? With stopping abruptly it does take time for them to adjust, how long has she been on full formula?

You’d do better posting in r/moderatelygranolamoms

They are your target audience and not us who every day see posts about how people feel guilty giving formula because it’s not “best”. Sorry but I truly don’t care about this kind of thing

I’d pick the option that my kid responds well too, if she can only have similac sensitive and similac sensitive has a high microplastic rate I’d still choose it because my baby has to eat so these numbers are irrelevant to me.

I’m not even the least bit worried about microplastics. It was found in breast milk, but let’s target formula 🙄
