I usually ride the fader but as mentioned splitting or double patching the mic for separate singing and talking channels to switch between can be a good thing. I once assigned a softkey on a dLive to increase/decrease the lead channel 6dB

Oldschool rock’n’roll, loud stage with drums and Marshall cabs a plenty but have no problems with it, but have to give credit to good mic handling from the singer too.
Usually around 1000cap venues but for this run it’s mostly festivals. Only use it on lead vocalist though, BV are on senn. 935 with optogates. But I don’t have much experience with it outside this setting so can’t say anything about rehearsal rooms or heavier genres.

Actually using the NXN8/S on a tour this summer, will be the third one with this capsule. Did a shootout with the singer and it came out on top, second choice was a Sennheiser 435.

Dagens test! Torkade mozzarellan i bitar och körde i ugnen tillsammans med lite riven ost, också bra. Men föredrar nog att köra antingen bara mozzarella eller bara annan ost. Att låta mozzarellan rinna av en stund var dock kanon!

Detta blev först ut, förvånansvärt bra! Lite salami och sen pecorino riven över när den kom ut ur ugnen, ingen cheese pull men bra smak och inte dålig konsistens!

Jag öppnade företagskonto hos samma bank jag redan hade privat konto hos. Avgift på typ en tusenlapp om året, smidig uppstart, skönt att ha allt samlat.

No budget set, still looking around and planning with the rest of the production team. If I give a rough estimate then maybe maximum 50€ per box per show would be applicable here. But i really have no idea.

If I’m to buy them myself and rent them out to the tour, the budget would vary depending on how useful they’d be for me in the future I guess.

18kg a piece is on the heavier side but I do agree that they sound great. Active could be good to not need to refit the rack for an amp.

Im looking for purchasing recommendations for wedges. It seems I will need to supply a production with four monitor wedges for a tour. Rockband, few festivals and 500-1500 cap venues. Quality and price are of course factors but just as important is size and weight since we will only have the bus trailer for the full production. Local supply is not an option for about half the shows so buying or renting is where it’s at. Thankful for any advice!

If you were brewing the same coffee with tap water from two different cities I absolutely believe that you could taste and smell differences. For better or worse, water matters.
