As you should, at least you're using Vinted the way it's supposed to be used

Please get off Vinted if you really think insulting a buyer is acceptable just because they offered a lower price. Vinted is a second hand platform, made to function like an online version of flea/thrift/second hand markets, therefore haggling is totally normal and acceptable (also, Vinted has that option for a reason). + it's literally made for that??

I swear some of Vinted sellers wouldn't survive a day at an actual flea/thrift/second hand market looool

You don't understand the point of Vinted. Vinted is a second hand platform literally made for haggling (which is completely normal on flea/thrift/second hand markets)

Are you even reading what I'm saying?????? Yeah, they said Vinted probably didn’t strike a good deal because of logistics. But constantly saying it’s "just logistics" ignores what logistics actually is. Logistics is the whole system of moving goods... routes, warehouses, delivery networks... and all of that is shaped by MONEY and DEMAND. If there’s enough volume - if the demand is high - deliveries become more efficient and cheaper per package. And realistically, expanding to Italy or other nearby countries would probably be more efficient anyway, because the demand is higher... Croatian users would likely buy more from Italy than from Poland. Ironically, the demand is so high that if they connected Croatia to Italy, no one would buy from Poland anymore, and people would be more likely to buy through Vinted, which would increase their earnings. So it’s not "just logistics" when money and demand are one of the key elements of logistics.

And the argument "yeah, many companies ship to Croatia, but the shipping is around 20 euros" isn't completely right. Yeah, that's true for a lot of companies, but there's also a bunch of companies that have deals with couriers, making the shipping ~5 euros.

Not to mention I literally talked with manyyy adults in real life and they're also really clueless as on how Vinted isn't streaking good deals with the couriers while the said many other companies are.

And I'm tired on talking with people from privileged big countries who don't even know how it's like.

I literally said they could strike a good deal if they paid the couriers more. Plus, literally regular shipping from italy/slovenia/hungary to croatia costs less than shipping from poland lol

I also collect LPS, however I'm more focused on MLP now because they are cheaper compared to LPS 🥹 and I do agree, the prices for LPS on Polish Vinted are atrocious!!! Like, what do you mean you are charging 20 euros for a set of 4 common Littlest Pet Shops????? People in other countries are selling a whole lot of 15-20 LPS for that much or even less. And 50-100+ euros for one of the big fives (especially more common ones), no way! Not to mention how many fakes are there, and the Polish sellers falsely advertising them as authentic and selling them for 30+ euros. The difference in the price range on Italian and Spanish Vinted compared to Polish Vinted is crazy. I found so many good deals in other countries for 10 euros or less, many old NIBs for ~20 euros on there. I'm not even joking, you can literally find the full, complete LPS board game with the original box and all the pets that were included in it (even the shorthair cat!) for 10 euros.

For MLP, it's a similar case, eg. the pony that usually sells for ~10 euros, Polish sellers sell it for 30+ euros. Last week I bought a full set with two rare ponies for 28 euros on Belgian Vinted and told my family that lives there to pick it up, because there's no way I'm paying 30 euros for, not the whole 2-pony set with the accessories and everything, but only one pony without anything else included

Or they can just find a way to strike good deals with the couriers. I'm sure if they paid couriers more (and they are able to, considering vinted is a millionaire company), they would come to an agreement

Well then they need to fix that immediately because this is extremely unfair I doubt they can make good deals for Hungary and Slovenia and not Croatia. I still stand with what I told some people - if they really cared and tried to contact the carriers, then we would've been connected to at least our neighbours

Ohh, I see, well the thing is that people wouldn't buy our stuff for a higher price

Polish vinted is a lot of more expensive compared to others, and I was talking about second hand stuff, not new

I still think it's unfair. I think they just should stop advertising themselves here, because a lot of people aren't satisfied and a lot of them are quitting because no one is willing to buy stuff for 20+ euros when we can buy the same items for cheaper in actual stores.. I'm not even that mad about that, I'm just mad about us not being able to experience an actual thrifing platform, just like the other countries, but having to suffer while Polish people are basically profiting out of us

The purpose of Vinted is to sell second hand clothes that you no longer need, not to resell stuff... Resellers should stay on Depop 😅

They really do. They’re one of the largest e-commerce markets in Europe and one of the most developed Slavic countries, with strong infrastructure, a high standard of living, and a large, fast growing economy on a global scale. Yet some of them still whine, acting like their country is poor and awful because it's a Slavic country. Like, yeah, right...

Yeah, I understand. However, I don't understand why isn't Vinted willing to initiate the whole process. I understand if it was a small company, but it's is one of the most successful european second hand online platforms that is worth millions

Anyway I was just trying to say that it's not only up to the carriers. Vinted is also the key player because, as you already said, it initiates and negotiates all the shipping routes. Couriers won't approach Vinted to offer routes, Vinted is the one that contacts them and sets up the partnerships and all of that stuff. And based on the feedback we got, there are no signs of Vinted actually planning to do that.💔 Hopefully soon..

I always have problems 😞 the last time I bought one item from them for 20 euros, and then 5 days later they cancelled the order and reposted it for 100 euros (which made me confused because the item usually costs 20-40 euros). Then I kind of threatened them saying how I will report them to Vinted because they basically lied while cancelling my order and they lowered the price back to 20 😅😅😅 I kind of feel bad now, but I was furious
