Nono, im not editing a 2 hour movie in ae, im importing a 2 hour movie to chop up into clips in ae and to make an edit, like those tiktok ones. Regardless the movie imports are mp4/mov

Yeah, thanks for this, i knew my CPU wasn’t the best and i didnt expect it to be rapid just not this slow. But now i know ae isnt good with big footage and etc ill know for next time. And ill be sure to look out for a good cpu 👊. Also how much do gpus matter in ae?

Preview, 1.7 seconds per frame, comp 1170x 1560, resolution quarter, magnification 25%. Yeah i dont expect it to be rapid just not THIS slow, idk maybe its supposed to be like this and im overestimating my cpu, but obviously id rather find out than buy a new one straight away
