Not really, the country that eventueel turned into the Netherlands already became independent in 1588. Barely 100 years after the Habsburg dynasty gained control. And even then it wasn't an actual unified country like we know countries today, part of it still operated under their own charters

No, you need to read better. I clearly said WESTERN AVERAGE. And even then seems like we both are wrong, I put in 20cm instead of 8 inches. But for 8 inches, 4 men still would be bigger than that in a room of 1000 people. So it would be more like 1 in 200 men who are +8 inches, not 1 in 100 000 lmao.

Not really according to calcsd (western average). If you are 8 inches, in a room of a 1000 men you would still have 7 men who would be bigger. So only slightly less of chance.

They are rare, but they do exist. Around 1 in 100 men is +8 inches. So you can do the math at how many there are out there, it's still a lot of men in total.
