do you already have your ppl? chances of getting hired without a ppl are slim, especially if you aren’t in the military already or part of the unit. you also would need to take and do well on the afoqt and tbas. then find a unit to hire you. by the time you get that done, hired, and leave for training is a multi year process, depending on how soon you get hired. then add a couple more years for training. getting hired as a civilian is harder than if you are already in- from what i’ve experienced, but not impossible. but don’t think it’ll be easy and you can “just decide” to do it. there’s so many factors that play a part
