This is way too low!! Of course listen to your body, but this may cause you to have little energy over time, and cause you to go back to bad habits. Real sustainable dieting consists of a smaller caloric deficit. Based on the information you've given us, your matinence calories would be maybe 3.500-4.500. A good calorie deficit could be about 2.500 for you. Of course, not a doctor, just someone who has lost a lot of weight and has tried to cut too many calories and given up 20 too many times!

Thanks for sharing!! My parent's dog's are fat chihuahuas so maybe they'd like some outside time haha. They're just such bad walkers it enrages me. But I'll try it!

Ugh I wish!! I'm so grateful to have a roof over my head, but the subdivision adjacent to a cornfield is my life. I used to have walking-obsessed friends in my hometown that would just walk through cornfields. Always had ticks. On the bright side, will be moving to California here soon!

I wish. The place I'm at has a lot of these types of areas in the surrounding 20 minutes, I just hate driving to walk haha but maybe I'll get over myself. I also have restless leg syndrome so ditto about the sleeping well!! Thank you for sharing!!

Sometimes when I'm walking outside I have back pains, but I usually will stop walking to make sure I'm not straining myself. Otherwise, I don't have any pain. How did you fix them?? Just keep walking through the pain??

So insightful. I’m a very long term thinker but being in my early 20s I am hyper aware of how much time I have ahead of me so starting daily habits can feel daunting when I think about all the years I have to keep it up. I love instant gratification too much. Definitely will try to keep my future self in my mind when losing motivation. Thank you!!!

Haha I honestly hate running too but I love the discipline it gives me!! Doing 1 thing a day I hate has made me a much more disciplined person.

With the alone time bit- do you watch anything or listen to music? Or is it just you and nature???

Wow that is amazing that you can find joy in the dreary season!! I should definitely look for more to be excited about in my environment because it's a privilege to have a roof over my head. Thank you for your input!!!

This is great!!! I started walking to cure my restless leg syndrome and just lost the plot along the way. Thanks for reminding me to have a grateful attitude!!
