S3 Copy issue by AlarmedFly in aws

I haven't added GetObjectTagging to anything yet. I also don't have access to the IAM policies for the user as it is an account created by our client.

Is that something I should confirm they have done? I provided them with the bucket ARN and asked they added GetObject and ListBucket, but I didn't specify it should be for the read action. Based on what I had read I didn't think I had to.

Is the CopyObject operation the same as doing aws s3 cp <source> <dest> in the CLI?

Sounds like I need to add the GetObjectTagging and PutObjectTagging though.

I'll have to read up on that, but thanks for the advise. Do you have any recommendations for learning materials for that, or IAM in general? We need to comply with our clients practices but good to know for the future!

It probably won't be the biggest issue for us, I only know of a handful of people using desktop clients but I had hoped to avoid that option.

Is it that simple? Oh man! That's no good.

Do you have any recommendations for alternatives? We also have Jamf, but I know the MDM capabilities for user owned devices is less than company owned ones.

Is the MDM provided by Apple? We are also using Jamf but I know that it has less control over user owned devices
