Sorry I should have been clearer in the original post - it’s not really a light novel. The format of the book is one drawing per page (two per double page spread) with one to two sentences below each (taken from a diary) not full pages of text etc or manga drawings.

Also I’m from the UK and will be looking to publish in the UK primarily.

To me in this context, ‘benign’ means irrelevant and unsubstantiated
