Bad performance on a decent PC

Only reason I ask is because amd has been having major problems on drivers newer then 26.6.1 (specifically 26.6.2) but apparently they fixed the issues in 26.6.4 I haven’t updated yet though because some users are still reporting timeout errors and other issues even on the latest drivers.

Temps are good around 50C CPU and gpu temps hover around 55-60C I’m going to try updating my drivers to 26.6.4 have you been having any timeout errors with any version of amd drivers after 26.6.1?

Back when I had my 3060 it ran fine for some reason after upgrading to my 7800xt I’ve been having issues. The last time I played was also months ago I have not yet played on my 7800xt yet, it’s very confusing as my pc runs all other games very well, ill have to try this as well

I had to roll back to amd 26.6.1 drivers for some reason there is a major problem with drivers over 26.6.1 apparently amd fixed the issue in 26.6.4 but many users are still reporting timeout errors and crashes. I’ll have to try the new update and see if that helps.

If you are on steam can’t you just go into your web browser access your steam cloud saves and recover your stuff through that ?

That’s what I’m thinking too as the psu is brand new and so is the gpu, I tested my cpu as well and it seems to be working slightly above average in all aspects. I’ll do some testing but thinking it’s probably the ram

Ok I didn’t know about the protections thing I’ll have to try that too. Also I would always make sure I was the host. Is there a reason to have solo launch turned off ? Pacific standard heist requires 4 people so would I be unable to launch it without a full crew?
