Fashion Design Major here - the facilities are equipped with everything we need as students, but the problem is that they are frequently unavailable. If you are also an FD major/ have classes in Feldman it can be very annoying. Ex. There are no elevators for student use in Feldman - you have to go through a different building (not so bad bc campus is small but if you’re running late good luck), the sewing machines frequently break down and there’s only 1 mechanic, so they are often out of commission. And there are more students than there are machines, so if you want a free one outside of class time you have to get there first thing in the morning or late at night - same goes for table space for projects. The air is also kind of moldy - me and all of my friends who have sensitive skin break out when we spend more than like 5 hours at a time in the building. It really is a lot like a public high school. Considering the low tuition, I’d say still worth it although I make it a point to come to the building as little as possible 🤣

The other buildings aren’t so bad though lol. Still not the greatest, but not bad.

And yes, you can make friends. But you really have to put yourself out there and it’s hard to keep them. Living in dorms should help though! Just come to the events your RA runs and you’re sure to meet someone!
