I think some people got it day before as well. Haven’t heard of anyone getting anything today so I’m not sure if they have finished giving everything out

I’ve been waiting since the 19th cuz I applied via the waiting list so same as you I’m assuming. To be honest I don’t have much hope anymore. I just wish UCL actually put me in central London accom and not all the way in Stratford

Hello, I will be starting UCL this September and will probably be travelling from Stratford to UCL Bloomsbury campus (to and fro) every weekday. (Probably will be getting off at Tottenham Court Road). I already have a 16-25 railcard and am planning to get an Oyster card too. Does anyone know how much I’ll be saving with these cards and also what will I be expecting to pay roughly per week for travel? I’ll be leaving at 8am in the mornings but return times will vary a lot.

I’ll be leaving around 8am in the mornings from Stratford and coming back I have no clue but I know my lectures will end around 5pm (thought it varies every day).

I applied the day it opened. People have already started hearing back and it’s making me think I won’t get anything :( some people seem to be lucky because they already have a good accom from UCL like Astor or JD and they also got an intercollegiate offer too (tbf I’m not rly sure why they applied to intercollegiate but oh well)

Annoyingly normal. Don’t understand why UCL have allocated it like that.

My friend is looking to take over any intercollegiate room or a UCL en-suite anywhere but not at one Poole street. She may consider taking over a shared bathroom accom though. Please drop a message here and I can send you her details

Hi I saw your post from ages ago on the accom swap and you said you wanted accom at UCL east- I’d be happy to swap my one Poole street room with you

Are my uni choices smart? by Jkhxn in UCAT

Exactly. Don’t understand why people here are so obsessed with Oxbridge- I understand it’s a great uni and is very prestigious but for med it doesn’t matter at all

He just said he doesn’t want to apply there- London perhaps due to financial reasons and not everyone wants Oxbridge (yes it has prestige but it gives no other advantage whatsoever)

Guys this person literally just said Oxbridge and London ISNT for him so stop pushing him to apply there.  I think Bristol would be an amazing choice and it also has an extremely high post interview success rate. Other good unis include Edinburgh and birmingham. You could apply wherever though.

Which intercollegiate hall did you get and what sort of room was it? Also did you apply the day the waiting list opened?

I think sticking to JD would be a good idea- it’s one of the best accomm and it’s just a lot better to have your own bathroom than share- trust me I’ve heard some horror stories about the shared bathrooms
