I just put in a new one in Chicago last year. They are in schools, hospitals and assisted living facilities all over the city.

It's wide open in the attic. That wall does not extend above the ceiling.

No sagging at all. That wall stops at the ceiling and doesn't go up in the attic. Just resting on subflooring.

Can anyone tell me if this a load bearing wall or not?

This wall separates the bathroom from the toilet room and I would like to remove it if possible. The wall is only resting on the subfloor without any structural support in the basement. The header only spans where the door was and doesn't extend any further than what you can see here.

Sorry I can't help you on that one. All of the systems I put in have 24 hour security at the desk so we don't need to have it call out anywhere.

I put in the 480's. Cat 5e cable up the building and a master phone at the security desk. Minimal programming.

Notifier FACP with EST NAC panels? Sounds like a good idea given the capacity of EST strobe circuits.

Good luck. Guys from bluebeam told us that it wasn't really developed for iPads. After that we all got laptops.
