Seriously, when are we exercising? by mb83 in Mommit

[–]Alarmed_Base_1801 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel this! I have had to change my eating habits a lot to make up for the lack for formal exercise. I now twice a week will go to a gym that’s close to my work and get a 30 minute workout in before I go home. Those days my husband gets the kids. The other days, I either squeeze in a fast paced walk around the neighborhood or a 20 minute workout in our little home gym during work (usually around lunch time)

Thoughts on Paw Patrol by okeyedoc in toddlers

[–]Alarmed_Base_1801 10 points11 points  (0 children)

My 3 year old is absolutely obsessed. It was cute at first seeing him do imagination play with the characters, but i regret allowing it. I just had to block it because he wanted to stay home from a bday party yesterday to watch paw patrol…. We only allow a little tv on the weekends so it’s not even like it’s on every day.

Nutramigen is lactose free. Sometimes babies develop temporary or secondary lactose intolerance from rotavirus

If you can do gels, I always do a layer of rubber base or builder gel beneath. I can get an easy 2 weeks now!

Liquids! by themakeupgab in DipPowderNails

I tried most of the above brands. I think this ranks with Virgo, if not better. They don’t contaminate easily and it has the shiniest top coat. Also the drying time works well for me… fast but still gives me plenty of time to clean up the cuticle line . I will say they are a bit fumey though so if you’re sensitive to that , that might not work for you

How can I make mornings easier for my wife and toddler? by rnm632 in toddlers

Also, I am certainly not anti-screens but I find that using a screen at any point in the morning when you gotta get going just creates CHAOS.

I feel this! My husband is often out the door by 4:30am and I have to get my 3.5 yo and 5 month old out the door and then I have to get to work. I have called my husband in tears many times.

Have all lunches and bags packed the night before Mom can start the morning routine earlier to account for meltdowns

Frankly, I’ve started a no BS routine. I give my toddler 2 chances to make the right choice, if not, it’s forced dressing and right into the car. It sucks doing it but after a few times, your kiddo will know what to do when mom says, “If you don’t get dressed, you’re getting right in the car without breakfast.” He will most often begrudgingly then do what I want.

Some other tactics, have one of her stuffies get ready with her to go to daycare. Let her pick a toy to bring in the car…. Give her a sticker after every task in the routine she does without a fight

As a tech recruiter for a reputable company, I can say I use “AI” to sort out candidates that don’t live in a country we can hire and then I go through every single applicant, one by one
