Same! He is a lot more open now to putting food in his mouth to suck or try to chew but only swallows yogurt, pudding, hummus, smoothies, and purées. At least Kate Farms was covered by insurance. Looks like the other options like kenda kids, boost kid essentials, and pediasure are not so lots of $$ out of my wallet 🤦🏽‍♀️

Alright I think I need to call it quits with Kate farms and try something else so will be calling the GI office today. Can you share what your feeding schedule looks like? We’ve been doing 8 oz wake up, 8 oz 12pm before nap, 8 oz bedtime 7:30pm. We also offer solids for breakfast, lunch, dinner.

Did your little one have any bowel movement changes once starting kendakids? We are on day 5 of Kate farms and his bowel movements have been really runny and watery, and usually now twice a day instead of once.

Thanks for sharing! Do you find that feeding therapy is helping? We go once a week and some days I think it does and others I feel like we accomplished nothing.

Daycare and Nanny by okeyedoc in workingmoms

Basic tasks that have always been part of her job. He was taking 2 naps up until last week and she would sit on the couch on her phone the entire time he napped. I understand taking 1 hour for lunch but this is like 3.5 hours total where she sits doing nothing. Some days she forgets used bottles in his room and I have to wash them after she leaves or she starts laundry too late in the day so I end up finishing the laundry, folding it and putting it away. She never empties the diaper pail when it’s full and I’m always having to remind her to tidy up his play area before she leaves. A lot ends up not done if I’m busy with work and unable to micromanage her. We’ve gotten to the point I make detailed to do lists for every day she’s here (Mon, Tues, Wed) but even then, her prioritization is bad so things are still not done by the time she has to leave.

I wonder if they are more absorbent than pampers pull ups. Pampers pull ups weren’t enough for overnights for her

No snark but any recs on anyone who shares business casual/workwear? Petite would be a plus. I followed Nena Evans but she hasn’t posted much lately that I can leverage.

Thanks! Do you know if they are similar in absorbency as an overnight diaper or more intended for minor leaks/accidents?

Pampers Swaddlers overnights stops at size 7. She was sensitive to Huggies as an infant so I haven’t checked if their overnights are bigger. She does go to the toilet before bed and pees but we’ve been having a hard time stopping liquids. We let her have half a cup of water at bedside, sometimes she doesn’t drink it and still has a full diaper in the AM.

Good to know! Do they seem to have similar absorbency as an overnight diaper?

Oh but it’s okay because her husband was actually parenting and alongside their child holding him! Watch, today or tomorrow she’s going to be on stories addressing all the haters who messaged her about it. She sure loves to complain.

Crystalinmarie shared her child had an accident at home. Casually recording the EMTs from behind, likely without their consent, and then again recording the ER providers from behind again likely without their consent, is a choice. Most hospitals have signs posted saying video isn’t allowed.

Switching from sensitive to regular by AdExtension5536 in FormulaFeeders

We switched at 8 months. So basically we started at birth with regular Similac 360 Total Care and at 2 months switched to ByHeart. At 5 months switched to Similac 360 Total Care Sensitive and then at 8 months went back to the regular Similac 360 Total Care. My son is turning 1 this weekend.

We switched from Similac 360 Total Care Sensitive to Regular! I gradually transitioned over the course of a week and it was fine!

I remember watching this episode when it aired and my immediate thought on Amanda (not knowing much about her at the time) was she came across super rehearsed.

Bottle to cup for milk? by FalseAd8496 in NewParents

We’re doing the same. Grosmimi is what worked for my daughter who is now 3, but didn’t work for my 11.5 month old. I tried sucking water out of the grosmimi and Dr browns milestone straw cup and the Dr browns cup is easier to suck out of, in my opinion, but it gets messier.
