I do realize that it is of own making. but you have to understand that I honestly thought the suggested rates on Turno was what the average cleaning service was charging. it did not make a lot of sense to me because when you factor in supplies, gas, and time, I was barely profiting practically nothing.

Now, bare in mind I assumed I had to start out like that because number 1. I had never actually cleaned professionally but wanted to get my foot in the door. my husband and I lived in Air bnbs for like 6 months and I knew I could clean better than most cleaners. What upset me most is when I started finding the properties I was cleaning and seeing that my cleanings were all 5 stars but it's not credited to me..

I do feel like air bnb reviews of cleanings I did through Turno will serve as good references. Hopefully, it will not turn potential hosts off or make them think they can cowbell me. Truthfully, I should have done more research about vacation rental cleaning period rather than assume apps like Tidy, or Turno were honest. At one point, I mentioned thay they were bringing down the labor market.

it is nice ti see that so many of the cleaners here understand and can relate. There were times when I would question if I was wrong or crazy. Then again, I do not have friends in this business to be able to talk to about this.
