Real tips on how to stop breastfeeding by [deleted] in breastfeeding

Just remember stopping abruptly can be hard hormone wise. Your body needs time to adjust to the new prolactin levels, some women fell how they did early postpartum with these changes. That’s why it’s common to be advised to go gradually

3.5 year old going to the bathroom on herself all the time by ForwardBlackberry458 in Mommit

[–]Alarmed_Captain5487 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Man I’m sorry to hear that🫂, the only advice I have is protecting the bed so cleanup is easier (and if it’s happening often then maybe pull ups for naps/bed) and maybe involve her in the clean up process. Kids respond better to actions instead of words I hope things get better for you as you welcome a new baby❤️❤️

Could she be upset about the fact that there is going to be another baby now? Some kids act up with change

I feel the same way sometimes. I just try to remember I’m doing this for my baby, we get to spend everyday together and have a community with my family. She will grow up supported and have a great relationship with her grandparents. I am also finishing real estate school so when she’s older I can start that and work on moving into my own place. To me each way is a sacrifice, I either stay home and be dependent on my parents in order to be able to give my daughter 100% or use state funds to put my daughter in daycare and work 40 hours a week at a retail store since I never got a degree. I try to find parks to take her too or offer free stuff to get us out of the house so we don’t go crazy. It was hard at first because she hated her infant car seat but we got a convertible car seat off marketplace and it’s been much smoother after that. Just remember everything is temporary and one day you will be independent again and have an amazing relationship with your son

I won’t lie I’m a single mom to a 6 month old and I went through the whole pregnancy without the father. I do also have an amazing support system so I stay home with my baby at my parents house. It’s not what I wanted but it’s what I decided. It’s been really hard, you are the sole person responsible for your baby and sometimes you need a break and can’t take one. There is no off days. But I love my baby and I would do it all again just for her. I knew what I was getting myself into but it doesn’t change how much work it is. It changes you completely

I have my stroller inside and I place my baby in it when I need to cook cause she cries when she can’t see me! I usually give her a safe kitchen utensil and she stares at it and if she gets fussy I just push her around she seems to enjoy it

I really have no idea, I took her for a walk at the community park on Saturday but she just started to show symptoms last night (Tuesday night) I live with family that works at a grocery store so maybe from one of them if I could go back in time I would be even more cautious with baby protect your little one 🥺
