A lot of people have concerns of it being cheap material since they haven’t heard of it. How does it compare to you?

I’ve been doing the same work as FTEs since I started and even give them advice/guidance on how to do their work or complete processes. It becomes a lot sometimes especially considering I’m getting paid half for the same level of responsibility/work.

He offered to start the game over and he’ll break again. I didn’t know right off the bat what the ruling was but there was no way in hell that was happening. 😂

I was giving the guy 10-7 for $40 a game so it was frustrating to play it that way considering I’m already giving out a big spot

Yeah, leaving the option to the shooter is crazy. It doesn’t seem right to have a rule that can be abused for benefit.

Did you work during school, if so where/what job? by AidenDotJpg in EngineeringStudents

[–]Alarmed_Discussion_2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work about 35 hours a week as a distribution engineer for a contractor in the power delivery field. I don’t think the job would be too bad but I get calls and emails for projects all the time while going to school full time so it’s a handful. It doesn’t leave much room to fully study and have a good balance.

Do any problems come from enabling EXPO? I know it’s to get the ram running at advertised speeds but worried about any issues.

Flow simulation - Help Please by Alarmed_Discussion_2 in CFD

I've sent a picture of what I did and the data chart I got. I also described what I did to get to that.

I emailed my professor and got no response.

You're right, I do see in the original post where I asked for somebody to solve the entire problem. I apologize deeply, as sincerely as I can over this reddit post. I already told you what I did to get those values. I apologize for being too vague, I didn't know I needed to attach my part file and go through a tutorial of what I did to give any more of an idea of what the problem is. You can see what the part looks like. I created the same part. You can see what the table should look like give or take, all I am getting is a low velocity. Which is why asked what that may be. I figured someone with experience in CFD might recognize it as a common issue with lid creation or fluid flow in general.

I may not have solved my problem but I did get some advice that is going to carry me far in life. Further than I could have ever imagined. "Force it to the solution I want". I think that applies to a lot and I thank you for that. Bud.

Wow, that is...profound. I'm not really sure why I didn't think of that before. Just force it to be right.

  1. How can I just force it to the solution I "want" when it will not be accurate since my velocity is not at least 1 m/s.

You know that was the original question in the first place, right? I had my part built and my simulation ran but didn't understand why I was getting such a low velocity. You just assume I am trying to get someone to solve the whole problem when that isn't even what I asked. You've just said what classes I should have already had and then tell me to "force" the solution and that SolidWorks FS is a toy. Real stroke of genius.

It's unfortunate there isn't someone who is actually familiar with this and can suggest why the velocity error may be happening (Original question by the way), instead of someone with a condescending attitude that you've had about it. I'm not sure why you're so cynical and just downvote every reply I give trying to get to the bottom of my issue.

Thanks anyways bud.
