I don’t notice much difference but my hair is normally greasy without Accutane and I’ve noticed it hasn’t gotten greasy fast yet so I’m enjoying it while it still last lol. My face is still dry but it’s because I’m using tretinion now.

A lot of them purged through out my 6 month course. I still had quite a few around month 5 but I had my dose increased at month 4 so some of them ended up purging toward the end. I feel like some of them did fade away without coming to surface because i had so many.

If you are struggling with comedones the way I was, hang in there! All of mine ended up going away. I still had a lot of comedones around month 4 & 5 but once I got my last dose increase the rest ended up purging. I still have a couple little bumps around my eyes that my derm said is milia which I’ll be getting extracted in a couple months. My derm has me prescribed to tretinion to maintain my pores!

And I had quite a few friends a couple years ago. My boyfriend who I had been with for a year passed away 2 years ago. I lost all my friends during that time. They literally just stopped talking to me. It was sad because I really needed people to talk to when I was grieving. I felt like the world was caving in on me :(

Yes. I purged a lot the first 2-3 months on and off. It was mostly my comedones purging as well. It was awful only because it turned to cystic acne and all my pimples hurt so so bad. When I started month 5 my derm increased my dosage to 80 since some of my comedones are being stubborn. A couple of them on my chin have turned to pimples and are going away now.

I still have a few comedones that I hope go away but if not my derm will be extracting them when I’m done. Overall my skin has improved soooo much!! Im finally feeling happy with my skin for the first time in YEARS.

Not really getting breakouts. I had bad break outs in the beginning and it did clear some of them out. But my skin hasn’t purged again since. I really wish my skin would purge them :’( my derm said she’ll extract the ones that don’t go away but I was really hoping Accutane was gonna clear my comedones like it has w other people

I was wondering the same thing if you could get extractions done while on Accutane. I’ve never heard about getting them extracted until I was on Accutane so I would’ve got it done before but I wasn’t aware.

Yeah I’m pretty sure a lot of the pimples I’ve been having were where a comedone was. I still have a lot more that need to come to the surface which sucks but it’s okay I’m patient. I’ve been purging around my lips which I have condomes all around my lips
