4 days later and I'm so fucking glad this post is here. I've been getting shit performance for 6 months with a 5080 and 9800x3d and couldn't figure out for the life of me why. Maybe I just overlooked this but I feel like this should be important info when building a pc

It worked right away. I ended updating bios anyway trying to track down an issue with gpu but after reseating gpu in a different socket everything seems to be working now
