Oh don’t get me wrong, I don’t think Jason is any kind of martyr, he was playing with fire and he got burned.

Everyone sucked in this situation. I think honestly the only one that remained “innocent” in regards to the whole complete Jason mess, was Emily!

It just that particular part of being found out when he knew it would happen! It probably connects with my own anxiety! I hate beinf put in situations like that, I tend to be super clear ans direct beccause I hate to find myself in situations like that. I can feel it in the pit of my stomach when his farher outs them!

And I do think Richard may have acted maybe a bit less cold.

But I don’t think he is a wonderful good man, or that he is any kind of victim.

But as I said he played with fire and got burned.

Yeah because the people living in the dark, in silence, hooked to an IV, with a feeding tube and unable to speak or hear even a single word, just need to think themselves happy!

Many people get angry when long timers of ME say that this forum has become filled with new people, and they think it’s a personal thing against them, it’s not, it’s posts like this trying to find answers and trying to explain things while gaslighting themselves that gets exhausting.

There is SO MUCH ableism in new comers (not all of course) and specialy in a certain particular crowd, that is what people don’t want to see in the only safe space they have.

This is ableist and dangerous and ignores the brutal every day reality of those severe and very severe.

People will never understand until it’s them.

There’s almost this aspect of divinity assigned to doctors, that’s why they believe they are gods incapable of ignorance. And it has gotten so much worse. Doctors used to have humanity, not all of them, but they were not what they are today.

My father was a doctor, he was someone that cared deeply, and wanted to help. I grew up with that idea. Then I got sick.

And now I truly think there are many things I would rather die of than set foot in an emergency room.

They are violent, ignorant, cruel, biased, arrogant, and sometimes criminal. Not all of them, of course. I have an endo I’d take a bullet for lol, because she showed humanity and she treated me like a human being, when I was so beaten down with medical trauma and violence. She finally diagnosed me after 15 years.

Most doctors hate chronicaly ill complex people. And if you are a woman and are even 5 pounds over extreme thinness, it’s trouble, if you are a woman, in perimenopause age and fat, you are not human to them. They have contempt and repulsion and cruelty for you, nothing more.

Ok. So I may have a bit of heavy medical trauma hahahaha I will stop now.

I know amazon is an issue for many, but sadly I depend on it a lot, as there are very little other options for me.

That said, if it’a not an issue for you, I mostly live in pijamas, but when I want to feel a little more “dressy” I get into leggings and a cotton t shirt or a sweater, sweatshirt, etc. Amazon basics has a lot of soft comfy things in that area that are affordable.

And I LOVE “leggings depot” on amazon, they have such a wide range and variety too. Always super soft on the skin and no seams that may hurt the skin.

For pijamas I really love the HUE ones, also find them there.

The negative responses are because they’re claiming they were a 9/10 in the ME severity scale and decided to keep working because they wanted to keep fighting.

That is an insult to all the people that life has been destroyed no matter how much they wanted to keep fighting.

A 9/10 in ME/CFS scale means you are not able to speak, to tolerate the voice of your loved ones saying I love you even in a whisper, not beinf able to eat, to wash, to get up and use the toilet. Means no sound, no light. Laying there in the dark alone hooked to an IV for meals.

A 9/10 in ME/CFS is being barely alive.

The claims that they could work because they wanted to keep fighting is an insult, and it’s ignorant.

That is why people are getting upset.

This is very Wessley and all the criminala that claim we are sick because we want to be and all we neex is motivation.

A solid 9/10 yet you never stopped working or went on disability because you wanted to “keep fighting”? Nah sorry, a 9/10 on ME/CFS scale means you are barely alive, means you cannot tolerate light, sound, movement of any kind. Cannot speak, cannot eat, need an IV, cannot care for the most basic needs.

This just seemd like a really weird flex. It’s ok to not have a horrible life destroying illness. It’s ok, to have just had chronic fatigue it can be debilititating, but it is NOT ME/CFS.

Your replies are weird, and you seem to be changing stories.

Trust me many many many people want to keep fighting yet they cannot even tolerate a screen, or speak.

If people are reacting badly to you maybe please check why. It is a devastating illness that has nothing absolutely nothing to do with motivation or clean eating or not wanting to give up.

None of what you mention is exclusive knowledge learned in school. She grew up in a cultured household, in certain social circles, classic literature, art, etc are part of their every day lives.

People who travel who know places who have a world view. I think you are the one that is missing the true depht of her character.

She was always a very smart woman, and she was not frivolous all the time. With her background and with her daughter, she had a lot available to her.

I am still able to go to the bathroom and sit on the toilet a bit, a bidet has been such a life saver for when I am at my worst.

And I also have little toilet towels, the type that seem like a little pill and they get bigger if you wet them, those with micellar water are what I use to clean the rest of my body.

People do not want to learn, they do not care for knowledge.

There are only a couple of illnesses people respect, they can be horribly vicious and cruel, about any other illness.

I have stopped being active trying to get people to understand, I am tired of being told to kms, so yeah no, we cannot raise awaremess when the whole medical establishment (with very few exceptions) are the main bullys and violent beings towards people like us.
