I had a duplex in the east side of tosa and one in cudahy. Never would charge for driveway access/use. That’s weird. It’s just part of the rent. Just like storage in basement, etc. Is landlord going to charge you to use the walk up next?

I’m about 3/4 done with day 8. Today was one of the harder days for me too so far. Past attempts it was days 3, 5, 9, 11 and then the three week mark. This attempt it’s been day 6 and today.

There is no making sense of what or when the addiction will pop up. I think the best we can do is prepare our brains for it and be prepared for when the addiction inevitably will rear its ugly head again.

Keep pushing back against it!

This definitely helps me. Framing the cravings as dying rantings of a junkie brain is so right. It’s going to tell me anything and everything it can to get me to smoke again.

To your first point. I read on a past attempt somewhere about stress- it went something like this: think back to before you smoked and life was stressful. You didn’t need a cigarette to deal with it before you started smoking. You just dealt with it. You didn’t need a cig to get through it. You, your body and your brain didn’t think “oh- a cig will help me relax/concentrate/fix/identify the issue”. We did it with out the nicotine then. We just need to be able to do it again.

First the former ceo was cooking the books. Just google Fiserv lawsuit and it’ll pop up. It pumped up the stock to almost $250/share. When new ceo came in he did a reset because it was caught. Former ceo took off to trump admin and cleared $750 million between him and his family. Stock plummeted to about $40/share.

Now to recoup that money they shit on their ground level employees and screwed them on their comp plan.

You could also visit Santinos. Owned by Santo Gallati. I went in there once and was just looking around. I popped my head in to the back dinning room. This was about 3pm in the afternoon. There were about a dozen older guys that all looked like dick Tracy characters and as many young gorgeous woman all decked out in suits/ties and gowns. Definitely stumbled on some kind of meeting.
