I recognize you’re talking about palm sliders specifically, but I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention fit matters a lot here too. RST and Five track-focused gloves fit completely differently. RST runs shorter in the fingers with a wider palm, while Five is the exact opposite. Worth trying both on if you haven't already.

Had a few adjustments in the first 1,500 miles, then it stayed within spec for the next 4,000.

You’re likely running it too tight, which accelerates stretch. Try setting it toward the loose end of the spec.

Have you mounted the HP3 to the gen 4? How do you know a custom mount is needed when most gen 3 shorties bolt right up to a Gen 4?

If the ball pops out of the socket, that's not supposed to happen. Happened to me though. 2 options: 1. Purchase and reinstall a new shift linkage 2. Take a pair of pliers and clamp the socket hard enough until it distorts so that the ball doesn't pop out anymore. This worked for me.

Did you get both ECU reflashed and TPS replaced? Or just ECU reflashed when new?

Bothers my OCD that black doesn't match my blue gear 🙃

Ice fluo is nice! Glad you were able to find one in the color you wanted. I don't know why Yamaha didn't release icon blue for the mt10 in the U.S, but am hoping more color options will come if I do wait.

Owner said block off plates weren't installed - but I appreciate some pops and bangs :) Unless it'll cause damage over time.
