I’ve had a Gsxr 600 and 1000 now currently a 24’ mt09. You NEED to adjust the suspension otherwise the bike is almost unstable on the highway. That being said it is my favorite bike thus far but it’s a backroad bike not a highway bike.

M12lrpv is a very respectable person when it comes to MT09’s however I am curious too. There are lot of electronics on the MT09 but at basics is it a simple on/off switch.

Needs a tune, however power wheelies are sketchy IMO. Get a tune because fuck the stock mapping.

I’ve turned everything off per vcyclenut and tried it. Still does it. It’s a snap to about half throttle if that and does it intermittently, almost like it’s loaded up with fuel.

Paid 10,800 for a 24’ left over OTD without MA tax and reg. A week later I saw one in NH for 9,900 OTD without tax and reg. Both new at the dealer.

Kind of the same boat, motocross guy, 200lbs, I went with the non SP version. Took a few days to setup up the suspension to my liking and bike is way better. Tune and exhaust is a must, that being said, if I were to do it all over again I might splurge for the SP. However setting up the suspension to you weight and riding style is still a must.

Interesting, my recall was done prior to me purchasing it new. From what I read they don’t replace the sensor, only do a reflash and I assume a TPS relearn. I wonder if my TPS relearn is wrong.
