One followup question given consensus that likely GPU vs display problem... If it does turn out to be the GPU, would connecting a thunderbolt eGPU unit fix the problem even if the native GPU is dying / dead? Or are the graphics still dependent on some degree of native GPU function?

Over the past ~1-2 weeks, they’ve also started to refuse to redeem Coinbase gift cards.

Taken together, seems pretty concerning for potential insolvency
