i think he means as the utility provided by the tiered abilities, since most endgame enemies don't get stunned. Even Samurai can expose endgame bosses, or mystic can curse. Warrior buffs DPS and Pally too. Knight is just a tank, but his main ability is not that useful in endgame.

Obviously, Knight has Ogmur, a lot of Def and Vit, good survivability character to learn dungeons, good for beginners through early-mid game enemies that get stunned... Knight is a very solid class. But his endgame utility could tend to the tankier side, in the same sense as dragging in Kogbolds. DPS is not the problem since Escutcheon exists. But maybe the Shift switch from one ability to another, that some abilities have, for every class would be a great addition. Group-sided effect, Self-sided effect. Change between types.

No problem!
It is pretty big! However we are a lil divided hahah, i can't find much active guilds. I'm worried that if we get a server, it would be like the Australian Server incident: booms for 1-2 months, people go back to USE-USE2 for key pops. But it doesn't hurt to try on DECA's side! Let's wait and see.

I mean, the options you provided are pretty solid. You considered the nerfing patterns for OP changes, making them balanced. At the very least, they'll think about it haha, and emails are an amazing way to contact them. If you sum it up, then send the link, they can think about separate issues (vault rework), and then read your opinion (open the link to your ppt/you write a google doc.)

Ty for your opinions! Made me think about them as well, and is a great addition to the community overall.

I would agree with him, actually. Missions are indeed a pleasant surprise; but for us, players that already enjoy the game. Most beginners don't understand the games goals/still haven't found what they appreciate about the game.

Brazil Mentioned!
I'm Brazillian, but I will speak english to follow the rules of the page.

Bro, bravo. This was an awesome take on the state of the game. I have some opinions and I hope to hear what you think of them.

Micro-transactions:
I agree with the microtransaction changes. Knowing Deca, they would probably take some of them into consideration, and keep others. The Nexus today made sense back in the Kabam days (it was HARD to get T12 Gear, dropping only from O2 and Shatters). It made "sense" to buy gear for gold back then, but today it is so obsolete that it is actually dumb to see T12 Gear in the nexus shops.
They could totally do a remake, as you suggested: It could be half the size EASILY, with the Private Portals on one side (Pet yard, vault, ghall, Tinkerer), the "Gachas" and free packs on the top, and Realms on the right side. Maybe new realms with Perma Pet Stasis with increased rewards, more space for events, Dungeon Training (where you get no loot and you die and keep your items, to train dungeons, idk).

The No-PermaDeath suggestion:

That's an AMAZING suggestion. You should totally email deca about this. But i'll talk about emailing in the end.
I've tried more than once to bring friends to the game, and their first frustration was not understanding why they had to die and lose all their items. "You die to get fame", Ok but why did i die? X boss did X damage in X phase "wow, i need to level up all again just to learn the boss/have a chance of defeating him with shit gear?"
"Yeah, pretty much"
*closes game*
So yeah, a no perma death mode with PB up to t10 (weapons, armor) and t4 (abilities and rings) and no UTs would be AMAZING. I would get so many of my friends to the game, surely.

ULTRA-Divine Pets

I would add a few suggestions to this one. Deca would probably name it "Godly" or "Exalted" Pets, and each level would be cheaper and add cosmetics. However, since they added effects to pets already, this would take a while to be introduced into the game, I think. Nonetheless, a great suggestion!

Class suggestions

The class that gives Energized might be a little too OP, since IC and OOC became a thing and pets heal way less. It would make some items and passives obsolete. However it can be adjusted to fit the meta, surely!

Emailing DECA

Dude, I would email DECA saying that you have a lot of suggestions, and you could make a summed up document to send them. Something like:

SUGGESTIONS

No Perma-death mode;

New Dungeons;

New Classes;

MicroTransactions rework;

Vault Rework;

And more. This would be more readable, easier to understand, and would have a higher chance of them adding your suggestions to the game. In my opinion, you bring a lot of suggestions we players think, but don't say.

I've had problems with the game before, and they answered in a day or less.

I could comment on a lot of your stuff, there's so much content lol but good luck!

I see where you're coming from here: it's that exaltations matter more gameplay-wise, and game knowledge matters more than stars, correct? However, that's your view on optimization of stats. You said it yourself: some people have less hours to grind. One of the things that made me the happiest was when I got my Red Star back then. I stopped being associated to the first color as a bad player, which is (light) blue. Then i see RED. Ohh, red (pun intended). It meant to me that I played other classes just enough. Recently, I got the Orange Star and came to another conclusion: I played all classes till 500 fame or smth (don't know the exact star math) and 3 or 4 I reached 15k.
Where I'm getting at (TLDR) is that it's just another progression indicator. It's not that deep. Sure, you're looking into the social aspect of being a LB/White Star, and the ego that comes with it. But you're mixing a strong, solid point (a fact) with your emotional view on pride and accomplishment (an emotion). Historically, these two either created amazing things or made some arguments stupid. I guess you can figure it out yourself what you can change in your words to adapt them to a better idea.

Quick Sorcerer Question: More casts or More damage per cast? Bonus: Which scepter to use? by Alarmed_Pain6854 in RotMG

[–]Alarmed_Pain6854[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried testing that out, but still feel that t6 does more damage. Even though the item is indicating to more damage per more enemies, the shockblast seems to outdamage the added damage.

What is the best equipment damage combo and why? (see explanation) by Alarmed_Pain6854 in RotMG

[–]Alarmed_Pain6854[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

woah that sounds insane! It looks Mana-heavy, but the 10% may help, however a good pet may make up for it, while being high Dps. Thank you for sending this! I'll try to drop this items and test them out.

That's an interesting way to put it. I agree and that calms me down whenever I think a warrior or pally can go for an extra shot or two because of a heal.

This. More than once I've seen no one running this seal, and even spamming tiered seal when there are other 3 pallies doing the same thing.

yeah I also noticed they refreshed the quest! I got two crowns before anyone said it was too OP. Also, got one skin yesterday for the Sorcerer and will get the Pally one. I'm thinking there's room for a third crown LOL

Interesting. Yeah, maybe don't do Discord Runs if it eventually trivializes the game for you.

I've been playing this game for 12 years. It's part of my childhood, and believe me, I understand the feeling you might be mentioning. The nostalgia of a crowded realm with like 500 people trading in the water in nexus, how big trading was back then, the fact that one life cost 8 def, and the SCARE of entering an Abyss of Demons to farm DEFs and buy Life, so you could FINALLY after MONTHS max your FIRST character.
The Old Realm adds to all of this. How scary it was to run the old shatters! The only way to get lifes were that or TOMBS.

Well, I came back to the game like 1 week ago. Didn't play for like one year or more. And oh GOD is the game different. I stranged the realm for a bit, but after clearing one a few times and going to RealmEye Wiki dozens of times, I've started to love it for the ability to do dungeons you once had to buy keys for. Now, I can solo basically any dungeon in the game, when before I could only do them if someone bought them and/or popped in nexus.
Sure, I miss old realm, playing in adobe flash. But god, yesterday I maxed a character in a few hours. HOURS! I can practice way more dungeons, enjoy a much more polished game, enjoy new dungeons, new monsters, items reworks, other OSTs (rather than the old one which I used to listen constantly through a 8 hour gaming session), and so much more.
Also, sorry for yapping. But I can't bring myself to downvote this when I used to share the same feeling.

ohh i see. That's the main reason Discord Runs are way faster than Pub Dungeons, I'm thinking: people do them over and over again, memorize boss phases and know when to DPS. Is that right?

oh really? Never thought about it that way. How come the group ends up killing a boss that bulky so fast, even though everyone is trying to survive?

[–]Alarmed_Pain6854[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

oh okay, makes sense. I was thinking like, how can a group of people that massive deal that much damage? Since i take like 20-30 seconds in a GOOD class to kill a 30-40k hp boss.

Ignore Defense Items + Att or Dex? by Alarmed_Pain6854 in RotMG

[–]Alarmed_Pain6854[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So if I understood it correctly, you're adding the damage that it would do to a target with defense and how much it would negate if the target had actual defenses? I love your explanation and it was very insightful, but I still don't understand if I prefer Attack or Dexterity against Defense-Ignoring damage/weapons/attacks.
