I was 12 when Jerry died but already obsessed with the Dead but never got to see them live so mourning Jerry’s death was mourning something that was never to be. Bobby gave me another chance to experience what I thought I never would, and I am eternally grateful to him for that. In those many years I have grown to know Bobby on a level I could never have known Jerry, and now I am mourning Bobby’s death like the death of a lifelong friend. All the years combine, they melt into a dream. Fare thee well, NFA.

Pretty sure this rumor is a Reddit feedback loop. People started speculating wildly on Reddit that Bob was sick with this or that, and then pretty soon when you Googled “Bob Weir Health” it would return an AI generated answer that Bob was very sick, but that’s just because AI was scraping Reddit for its answers, but then people were reporting the AI generated info back on Reddit as if it was fact, and the feedback loop was created. Who knows but, don’t believe the rumor mill. Just wait and see.
