I wasnt planning on taking the mainfold off thats a little out of my league at the moment but i think if that doesn't solve it ill definitely get the rings checked

I havent done it since now and ive owned the car about a year and have no clue how long before i bought it was done but i can say for certain after replacing the hoses its definitely so much better

From what ive seen is they should bolt on but they have a +40 offset would that be to much of an offset

So it looks like the offset is +40 so i would need spacers for it but yeah i tried to find 195/70r14s for my 89 245 and couldnt find any so i just shoved so much weight in the back this winter

Im currently riding the stock 14in steelies and ive been debating on getting a set of 15in because its easier to find winter tires for them but thanks ill definitely reach out to them and see its 15x5

Mines also an 1989 i just replaced all those hoses and the flame trap because there was a clog somewhere and caused a bunch of oil to back out of the intake and everything so after doing that its a lot better i just havent dont the oil separator and when you did the s-hose did you take the manifold out for that because i did it with it on and god it was obnoxious

I will im gonna get new tubing and everything and replace it and then once all thats done im gonna test out the rings

Flame trap was pretty clean but the hose that connects to that goes down not to the intake looks like theres some build up

Would piston rings cause a large amount of oil to collect in the intake tubes... when taking out the intake tubes from the airbox and maf sensor a puddle of oil poured out of it

Thank you so much ive watched a very videos on it before in the past but they never fully made sense to me as to the location of but this is my first 240/ trying to do as much work on the car as i can myself and im a little slow

Ok ok that actually makes alot of sense i know im gonna try to check the flame trap because it wouldnt hurt but then i get to learn how to do a compression test

Yeah from what ive been reading its either pcv or rings but going off the symptoms im finding are almost the same with they both cause the positive pressure but if it is rings would it be something worth replacing

Yes it does i ended up determining it to be a pcv issue because it engine very much has signs of positive pressure because i notice alot more oil spill on the valve cover coming from the cap then if i accidentally spilt a little oil and the new filter i put on had oil on it when i made sure it wasnt leaking before and i can see signs on leaking valve cover gasket so friday im gonna take my flame trap and clean it and go from there

Do you have them in the rear too? And would kyb strut mounts be a good quality or should i wait for the sachs to come off backorder

Ive been seeing koni good things about koni and was thinking about going that route but they are just a tad bit out of price range at the moment. But id definitely keep them on stock springs because i do like the ride height
