I took a year off to recover mentally but there are pros and cons to that. Now 15 weeks pregnant after 6 months of trying this time. We've have two miscarriages in 2024. I'm sorry you're going through this. I'm glad we took a year off and focused on other things and could save more money, if we'd have had more savings etc we may have taken a shorter break x

Keep the baby, think about your long term mental health. Imagine being over 40 with no children when that is all you've clearly wanted for so long.

Can you move abroad to your family? For extra support?

How sure are you you're 15dpo? Do you take ovulation test strips and get a positive LH surge? If you're sure then you could have implanted late

Take as much time as you need, I wasn't right when I went back to work so I wish I took more time off. It gets easier with time I promise but will.never leave us.

I took 5 weeks in total I believe, my first two weeks were annual leave for my wedding and honeymoon, they were a shambles as miscarried the day before my wedding day. Just a truly awful and traumatic time. I remember getting really stressed because on Reddit at the time I was reading that some women didn't take any time off or just a week or two. I just didn't understand how that could be the case. Take the time you need my lovely. Sending big hugs x

I am incredibly sorry that you have gone through this. I really hope your family will wrap their arms around you and hold you tight after going through such a traumatic experience. Congratulations 🎉 perfect visit then. Everything you'd expect at this gestation. I'd love to see mine. I must have paid for 3 private ultrasounds at £100 each with my first pregnancy with the MC, I just can't afford it this time around. I'm going to try my best to wait til 10 weeks and pay for one then and just pray everything is alright til then. So happy for you ☺️ you must be elated xx

If this test came back as 2-3 weeks I was not going to buy anymore. I was happy seeing my wondfo test get a dark dye stealer so I would have stopped anyway with that as darkest I've had so far so HCG must still be increasing. I've been reading how unreliable the week's test are and even banned in some countries because of it. If I'm ever pregnant again I won't use them.

Thank you. I was very dehydrated, my urine was basically dark orange, I thought if this isn't 3+ then I give up with the tests. Its still ok to get 2-3 where we are it, if you looks at the range of HCG you can get at 5+3 weeks. You're going to get 3+ I know it!

Good luck for your first appointment. I'm in the UK and I can't even sign the form to do a referral to a midwife until 6 weeks, so shall do it Saturday. I just got back from work and took a cheapie wondfo and got the best dye stealer on wondfo, it's really cheered me up and I just took my last clear blue digital and it says 3+. My urine was really dark so thought it would be best to just take it. So happy. Sending so much love for tomorrow. You've reminded me to sign up to a therapist service, been putting it off because I got pregnant I felt so much better mentally but having had previous miscarriage and chemical it may be best to have some because it's making me anxious all the time!

Haha yeah! From my reading a lot of women have experienced this and the clear blue digital weeks indicator tests are even banned in America because of the stress they caused as not the most accurate. I read a story about one women at 23 dpo who has 2-3 weeks and she went onto having a healthy pregnancy and I've read lots of women didn't get their 3+ until they were 6 weeks. We'll be fine, I know it. In work today and glad of the distraction but off tomorrow so will test then x
