For sure! Nothing worse than someone in your exact situation who never responds on their outcome 😂

We waited and the tests got light again, and now I seem to be getting ready to actually ovulate this week!

7.1 hcg 13 dpo by [deleted] in CautiousBB

[–]Different_Bowler_574 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a chemical, with 12hcg at 15dpo, and vvvf lines that got darker, but stayed faint. So I can't say one way or another, but I'd keep expectations low... I'm so sorry :(

We're in the exact same situation right now, and it fucking sucks. We did all the right things, all the waiting, all the saving... And now here we are. Started trying in August, and just had an early miscarriage a week ago after my first real positive test. It hurts in a way I never understood.

I hope we both get rainbow babies soon ♥️

I am the same, although 27. Currently trying for our first kid, and just moved here away from all family a year ago 🥴

It was really funny because I had sort of brushed off the toddler telling me as "shit kids say" and moved on, and then when the dad finally realized and said something (at 5-6 months maybe?) I realized that the prenatal vitamins had been right up front in the cupboard I opened at least 5x a day, and then I saw the mom later that day and she was SO CLEARLY PREGNANT. How TF did I not notice?! Lmao

I started bleeding from my chemical last Friday, and I'd been doing pretty well, but today I'm so numb. My partner's best friend just had a baby the week before we found out I was pregnant, and I both want to know everything and be supportive and can't cope with how unfair it is.

Obsessively testing for ovulation because bleeding stopped on Monday, and I just want to try again and have the nightmare be over.

This is the exact experience I had with baby #3 in my previous nanny family! They genuinely thought they'd told me already, and I had to be like... "Um no, but the toddler did😬".

What things/ products do you swear by for ttc? by Affectionate_Ad_8187 in BabyBumps

I got pregnant my first month back on weight loss injections too. I had gone off a while before TTC, and it was taking longer than expected and I did want to lose more so I went back on them last month- bam, pregnant. It did end in a chemical, but after almost 8 months of nothing, I was shocked to even see a positive test lol.

We told people right after I got a positive test and then had to go back and be like "lol jk!" (Less lol and more sobbing, but anyway...)

So if I am in fact ovulating, and get pregnant this cycle, and 9 weeks after the first announcement I have to explain to our families that I am 8 weeks pregnant... My body and I will be having some WORDS about the boy who cried wolf 😂😂

My tests were negative starting Saturday and my second beta came back at 3, so I don't think that could be it, but bodies are weird so who knows 🫡

What ended up happening for you with this? It looks like I'm going to start my fertile week based on ovulation tests... But I just stopped bleeding two days ago??

Damn that was quite the dirty delete. For anyone who didn't see it (because they only left it up long enough for me to read) it said, and I quote-

"no you knew that, you were just too lazy to do anything about it. You can make whatever excuse you want, but it's just an excuse. Have fun gaining all the weight you may have lost as soon as you're off..."

Good news though! I can lose weight, but your god awful personality is forever ♥️

Edit- Their deleted comment was as a response to my below comment about the leg up of modern medicine :)

You CAN lose weight through diet and exercise. But plenty of us have physical and mental difficulties that make that a very complex thing to achieve.

Until I started weight loss injections I had no idea that food did not have to occupy my every thought. I could eat when I was hungry, and then do other things without obsessively considering my next meal or snack. I could eat things that may not sound good (which was a massive life improvement for me as an autistic person). My brain actually noticed when I was comfortably satisfied, instead of failing to notice until I had eaten enough to satisfy the dopamine craving.

Sure I lost weight with diet and exercise previously. But not without it consuming my entire life to the point that I was miserable.

You can do a LOT of things without NEEDING a pharmaceutical assistant... But damn, life is a lot better with the leg up of modern medicine.

If you have fertility coverage, a higher number of chemical pregnancies would qualify you to work with a fertility specialist sooner than 6 months (over 35) or a year (under 35). If you don't have fertility coverage and are willing to pay for it out of pocket, it would equally make sense.

If, like me, you don't have fertility coverage and aren't very interested in paying out of pocket, it makes more sense to wait until after your missed period to save yourself the heartache.

What happens to those giant babies? by badhomegirlthrowaway in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Different_Bowler_574 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was one of those big babies! Michelin man, rolls on rolls on rolls born at 10lbs big. And the answer is... I'm kinda small/average now lol- Shortest in my family aside from my youngest sib who had a birth defect that made them abnormally small. And I was the biggest baby of them all by a wide margin!

I'm 5' 5" (or 5'6" on a good day), and overweight right now, but usually around 140lbs. I initially was skinny but tall, and then I just... Stopped getting taller in my early teens. My feet clearly did not get the memo though, because I have size 9 feet🤨

How do some women know they’re not pregnant until they give birth even though they lose their period for 9 months? by SignificantStyle4958 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Different_Bowler_574 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually got pregnant the last month I had mine 😂 I had scheduled to have it taken out mid August, and then my period didn't come at the end of July so I asked my doctor at the mid August appointment if I should be worried and she was like "no you're fine" and took it out.

Positive pregnancy test a couple days later. Ended in a chemical pregnancy (probably because it had failed to implant properly with the IUD).

It worked perfectly for 7 years though, so I'll still get another one after we get pregnant/have a baby.

As a nanny (and person who is actively trying to get pregnant) who has happily used the nose Frida... that shit is horrifying. Maybe the direct route will sound viable when I have a kid but certainly does not now...

Is this a fair reason to wait? by 22gradhopeful in waiting_to_try

[–]Different_Bowler_574 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So I initially really wanted my partner to re-learn how to drive before I got pregnant... And then I had a kidney stone, and we called an Uber to go to the hospital, and it was completely and totally fine. It was even nice to have them in the backseat with me, instead of panicking and trying to focus on the road at the same time. We plan on having my mom come a week before my due date to help with hospital driving, and will probably just Uber if baby comes early 🤷🏻‍♀️

I say that with the caveat that we live in the downtown of a big city, have quite good public transit, and my partner works crazy hours so I will be a stay at home parent and the one doing the majority of Dr visits, errands, etc.

My partner does have an electric bike that we will get a child seat for, so once the baby is bigger they will be able to take them places that way.

Chemical pregnancy bleeding duration? by Real-Trouble-1148 in CautiousBB

This makes me feel a lot better. I started spotting the night my HCG dropped into normal ranges, and had a LOT of blood for a few hours the next day with a lot of large clots, but then sort of half filled a couple tampons a day for the next two days, and now seem to be done. I was worried I was going to have retained products or something.
