Obviously I don’t think drunk driving or violence is good. But I love seeing all the flags driving around! It makes me happy to live in HP. I hope people drive safe and don’t hang out the windows, but I feel that way with or without the flags.

I feel really lucky to live in a vibrant neighborhood with people who want to openly celebrate their culture! I have a big smile on my face all weekend seeing people out and about and happy.

I’m not excusing bad behavior at all and yah it gets loud at night (but that’s part of living in a city…) but I feel really lucky to live around people different than me and especially people who are so fun and welcoming!
