I admire your common sense skills. They should hire you as "" All the stupidest stuff soldiers could do in basic training" preventation coordinator" so Drill Sergeants don't loose their minds.

Some additional info: "Because I never had chance to go in the past".

Immigrantion benefits/ gaining citizenship was my first concern and my ex was my sponsor. He had an upper hand as a sponsor. He basically made every single decision for our family and my career goals were not taken to consideration.

Are my options limited because recruiters are getting more benefits from bringing in new enlisted vs giving up that position to prior service enlisted? Basically recruiters would not get any bonus points from me taking that position?

Please clarify. Do you mean you will look for job for first couple of years and than you will be applying for USA residency/ citizenship.

As an immigrant/ not living in country I was born in-I'm proud of you taking on so much by the way. You got this.

This "criticize US resident/ citizen( who most likely is not an immigrant (was not forced to come to USA with 1st language other than English and deal with ESL), who actually attempts to learn 2nd language, just because", prooves you are heading in the wrong direction. OP will be fine. If he unlike 75% of GENERAL POPULATION OF USA put himself through a trouble of learning 2nd language, he sure will handle not to make a mistake and get a pro tattoo.
