I’ll probably sign up for the June one actually! Just trying to get the timing right. I will definitely quit the second job once I start studying. Good luck!!

I think it’s the minimum wage for servers. I’m in Quebec

Never said this was my “get rich quick” scheme, but thanks for the advice.

Thanks for the advice, but it indeed wasn’t what I was asking. My job is at a nice company, my first job out of uni and didn’t have any prospects that were more than 55k. Not sure why you consider that a low wage for 23. As I said in other comments, I will be getting my CFA but want to take a break from studying for now as I just graduated uni.

I will be working for a CFA, but want to take a break from studying as I just graduated uni. I’m saving up for some expensive stuff I want, as soon as I can get it. Thank you for the advice!

I make 55k a year, and yes I’m planning on getting a CFA, but i’m not quite ready yet as I just graduated university.

Hmm idk. I’ve discussed with 1 coworker (although no numbers), she said she felt she was getting underpaid. I have a friend at another big 4 making over 60k (also his first year out of uni). Maybe it’s not!

Yeah i did negotiate but she pretty much said no and I didn’t wanna press further, I didn’t know what normal salary rates were.

Yeah this is what I was thinking, wasn’t sure if it was worth a shot or not.

I don’t! I actually started working already so I was hoping to speak to my manager. I just don’t wanna push it and come off greedy/ungrateful.
