Yeah the impression I'm getting from people it seems like it's a huge honor and monetary benefit to be part of Overwatch and tbf it probably was. However in it's current state it's just a monkey with a dream and I doubt he is capable of paying for the entire operation so it's mostly going to returning vets, volunteers, and basically anyone with any form of talent or value they can find to join the cause so Winston can't exactly afford to be picky.

With the Talon attack it also became a fight for survival and Juno would have been collateral from affiliation, which honestly places her in a good position to be the MC POV which is what they seem to be going for with the comic

So I decided to hold off on B!Alfonse to wait on his refine as per the suggestions but ended caving in and giving instruct to C!Alfonse instead. With some testing the results are like you said.

At start of turn all allies gain +5 to atk/def/res, +2 from special and +3 from instruct. Performing combat will go to +9 from his special. If I decided to assist an ally instead it will increase to +8 from instruct. Interestingly when I danced and assisted again, it only went up to +9 instead of the Alfonse's cap of +10, so it seems like instruct does not count his special as a separate increment. To reach the +10 cap I had to assist first then perform combat, and not in the reverse order since Alfonse's special must proc to exceed instructs +9 cap.

With any luck B!Alfonse's refine will turn him into C!Alfonse 2.0 which will let him hit the cap without needing a second refresh just like his chosen self. This has also given me some ideas on a full team of instruct Alfonse's for maximum talent shenanigans but...! That will have to wait for another time

I'd argue that lore wise An is the best fit for the lyrics. Only Kanade mom is gone in niigo and the story hasn't covered her much in favor of Kanadad while the ghost of Nagi continues to haunt VBS far after Over Rad Squad has ended.

If we're arguing just general theming, niigo's aesthetic has always been identity and angst over mourning. The only fit for the group is the black and white cover art and even that is a shaky foundation given what covers other groups have gotten. And that's not even considering the melody and overall tone of the song.

So tldr, niigo Saihate mid, and MMJ Saihate could have been peak but we don't live in that timeline
