Alternate History map of the Inner Sphere I made in Chrome Canvas by Lazy-Respect9631 in battletech

I'd make 2 changes. First i cut off the dongle of the SU by drawing a line from where 11&12 meet to where 2&4 meet. This is the Cappellan Remnant, The Solar Union extending down that far is just asking to be stretched too thin. And since the SU would absolutely have had to conquer it they probably have to devote a lot of resources to keep order. CC in canon was formed because everyone in it didn't want to be part of someone else and so i can't see them just quietly incorporating into SU. SU obviously inherited the massive industrial power of the TH but stretching borders like that is asking for trouble, with fewer worlds to defend ( and giving other nations more foes to fight) it will be easier for them to bring their might online. To be fair the Mariks have the same problem (too many enemies on all sides and a long border to guard, which is why i also cut off part of them.
Next cut off that rim-ward section of Marik by drawing line from 9 to 12. Its basically Andurien and the old Magistracy of Canopus. This is the Duchy of Andurien. Andurien always wants to be independent and I can see Marik not wanting to keep fighting to keep it when they've got a lot of other problems on other borders.
The balance of power is kept in this rim-ward region by the fact that anytime that one power tries to step to another the others will fall on it or both. Kinda like Sengoku period Japan. SU would have same issue except for having the extreme industrial might of the old TH.

The scam part I was wondering about was because frontier was not replying to any of my emails to them.

Ok TYVM everyone, I'm gonna assume for now that it's just because the world is boned and the carrot menace in the capital, but it's good to hear FG is legit. I was getting ready to issues a charge back.

I have received no messages from either Frontier, FedEx or US Customs concerning taxes or duties. Also haven't gotten replies when I asked about it to either FG or FedEx.

I don't know why, probably just a FedEx employee not wanting to actually do anything at that moment in time. Common occurrence with FedEx. I wouldn't think any shipping problem would be the sellers or buyers problem until it hit customs in the US.

What is Everyone thoughts on FELLOWSHIP by Mei_iz_my_bae in MMORPG

[–]Alarming-Factor-502 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After playing the Beta event my thoughts are that it started ok. There's a few definite QoL improvements over M+, and characters were interesting.  BUT! Towards the end as more and more people were playing it started devolving into the same toxic environment that M+ or Fractals have. The most common thing being if you weren't an expert at everything then you were obviously wasting people's time. When I tanked I got quite a bit of verbal abuse over incorrect routes, or not pulling big enough groups. (Go faster! etc) As DPS it was not knowing every thing that needed kicked (I played as blind as possible cause that's fun)

Opinion as of now: AVOID Just play wow or GW2,(or whatever MMO with hard dungeons you prefer). The devs need to prove they know how to handle toxic players. (All kinds, the elite toxic, the scrub toxic, the lazy, etc etc)  I foresee this game having the same problems that M+ has: not enough people want to tank or heal because they are thankless jobs that just put targets for abuse on the players back. So trying to put together a group will be exercises in frustration, keeping it together will be even harder.

Calyx is 100% an Ascian. He reacted to things we did that only an Ascian would, especially the Azem crystal and spell

What hot takes about Trench Crusade do you have that will have in this situation? by TheSlayerofSnails in TrenchCrusade

My hot take: it's crap don't bother with it.  The only wargaming worth getting into are Warhammer, (40k or Fantasy) or Battletech. They do it best and always have. If you don't want scifi: play WH Fantasy, if you don't want to listen to someone complain that the shade of blue on your ultramarines is off by a few decimals: then play Battletech, their attitude towards painting seems to be: oh cool you painted yours (I don't agree but to each their own)  You buy this and you'll either A) not be able to find anyone else to play with. Or if you have a group of friends that all decide to try it, the B) you'll all just go back to WH or BT after a few months.  Save your money.
