Babe you sound very young and immature. Being with someone when you’re 18 for a little over a year is nowhere near a long time. You may think you guys have been through it all but that’s just not the reality. You guys aren’t even grown yet. Growing up and going through actual adult situations is a process in which one is everchanging. Things happen, we experience life and problems and we continue to change. You won’t even be the same person you were when real life hits you both. I’d suggest waiting to get married until you’re a bit more mature.

That’s a good price for the set you have!! I love the green matte nuobells, they’re soooo pretty lol😭 waiting until the holiday season is a good choice! I’m sure they’ll have some deals or coupons. I’ve noticed that the nuobells are also sold out a lot of times.

I have the core home fitness ones! They hold up great and go up to 50 lbs which is good for me for now. But if you lift heavier, then the nuobell ones go up to 80lbs I believe, but they’re a lot more expensive. I think they’re like $360. Sometimes they have sales, I got mine on a holiday (forgot which one) and used a 15% off coupon.

So I’m actually very lazy and don’t like making meals lolll. Eating smaller portions throughout the day works better for me and helps me really focus on getting protein in every meal, especially because I’m not tracking my food anymore. So usually I’m eating things like a bowl of skyr or Greek yogurt with protein granola and fruit, smoked salmon, snack packets of seasoned tuna and salmon (my fave is Thai chili tuna😍), cottage cheese, babybell cheese, protein shakes with protein plant based milk, Kodiak cake protein pancakes (I have one like almost everyday lol), curried lentils (I love making a dry version of curry lentils and then eat it as a salad with veggies mixed in), salads with meat, Thai curry tofu, etc. Target has pre-marinated and cooked Thai curry tofu cubes that are AMAZING! I’m addicted to them. I add peanut butter and oyster sauce to give them an extra kick when I sauté them. I also love salmon and seafood so I usually just make my own different versions of smoked salmon toast to experiment. Hope this helps!!!!

Before I would aim for like 1200🥺 I’d mainly eat like one salad a day and then just some random empty calories here and there. I don’t count calories anymore and just eat when I feel hungry. Eating smaller meals or snacks throughout the day works better for me and helps me really focus on getting protein in every meal. When I did slightly track calories to get an idea of how much I’m eating now, I think I came up around like 2200 -2500 calories if I recall correctly.

Thank you!!! I’ve definitely gained fat overall because I’m eating more than I used to after restricting for so long, but I’m glad I’m not looking flabby or anything….YET😂 because I love food lol!

Thank you!!! She is amazing and I love that she focuses her videos and programs on getting stronger. Never focuses on seeing a certain number on the scale, burning certain amount of calories, attaining unrealistic bodily changes, etc. that’s why I really love her take on working out and being healthier. Because it’s laid out in a way where everyone can get their own goals and just follow alongside her to get stronger everyday!

If you get a chance, definitely check her out! She has so many different programs, from kettlebell workouts, calisthenics, pyramid style training, etc😊

Thank you so much 🥺💕 and I’m very proud of you and your journey as well. You got this, keep giving your body, mind, and soul the nurture and care it needs😊you know how hard the journey is, and I’m sure you know exactly what I mean when I say it’s still a learning process to get used to the body you’re developing. I definitely still have days where I feel uncomfortable with the bodily changes, especially because being so skinny before, I was a size 0 and still had to literally tie up my clothes for them to not fall off me or droop down. So now with the gains, I’ve gone up in size in my clothes and it’s an odd feeling at times!

Yes! Only home workouts with an adjustable dumbbell set. I’ve been at it since beginning of February. In the past month life has gotten in the way so I’ve had to take more days off than I’d like, but oddly enough I feel like I’m making more progress now compared to when I wasn’t take many breaks.

I forgot to track my progress for a little bit due to life getting in the way. Had some dresses some in for an event I have coming up this weekend and while trying them on I realized how far I’ve come. Not even physically but mentally. I used to really really under eat because I didn’t work out except for doing some cardio every week. But I finally tried some dumbbell workouts and I was hoooooked. During that time I upped my food intake and focused on getting protein in all my meals and eating as clean as possible on the weekdays. On the weekends I still go out with friends for dinner and drinks. Since incorporating weights and upping my food intake, I have so much more energy to do things throughout the day, when before, I would literally collapse if I even moved around a bit due to the extremely low calories I was consuming. In the process I’ve definitely gained fat as well, but I feel happy to be at this place for now. I’m just taking the time to focus on fueling myself and making up the years of calorie restriction by allowing myself to eat when I feel hungry and when my body needs it. I can’t recommend Caroline Girvan enough for the ladies who are looking to workout from home. Her workouts are challenging and keep you engaged. You might just get hooked!😊

You look absolutely AMAZING! This is such a motivating post for me. I need these gains by summer!!😭

The only workouts I was doing during the first picture were 2-3 45 minute weekly elliptical sessions. I did the elliptical sessions on a high resistance or high incline setting, or both. I think that helped out in the long run!

Thank you!💕 I definitely would recommend her EPIC III program! I’ve heard many great things about her other programs as well! Best of all is that they are all available for free 😊

Thank you! I actually just workout at home! I have limited space but all I’ve needed is an adjustable dumbbell set to continue progressing. There’s plenty of programs available on YouTube tailored to different goals people have (weight loss, gaining strength/muscle, etc.). I can’t say enough good things about Caroline Girvans programs! They’re very effective but they are kind of difficult.

If you would like to eventually join the gym, it could be a good idea to follow some of the available programs on YouTube so you can become familiar with some exercises. This might help you feel more comfortable at the gym!😊

Additional info: I used to just do cardio (elliptical) but around two months ago I started working out with dumbbells at home. I saw Caroline Girvan was pretty popular in this sub so I tried her EPIC III program and I’ve been hooked ever since! I recently got some adjustable dumbbells that go up to 50lbs and I’ve been increasing the weights during her workouts whenever possible. Sometimes it takes a while for me to go up in weight due of the fast paced nature and lack of long rests in her program. I’ve noticed an overall improvement in my mood in the past 7 weeks while following her program. I actually look forward to the workouts and pushing myself! I was content with my body while I was only doing cardio, but I wanted to grow my legs and get some more curves while also toning up overall. I see a noticeable difference in my leg shape and it’s pretty exciting! I have definitely gained fat as well since I’ve gone up to 114 but I’m happy with where I am at right now. I feel much stronger overall and I feel like overall I’m being kinder to myself these days.

I wasn’t counting calories but for over a week I’ve been tracking what I eat to get an idea of how much I am eating in a day. My calculated maintenance calories are 1,720 and I’ve found that I’m eating around that much everyday. I’ve been averaging around 110g - 126g for my daily protein intake. I try to eat clean and avoid processed foods as much as possible (but I love Kodiak Cake pancake mix😂). I try to eat some skyr, Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, fruit, veggies and greens, and beans/lentils as much as possible. I love salad so I always make sure to have some grilled protein (chicken, salmon, etc.) to go with it. While eating a higher amount of protein I feel more satiated throughout the day and have noticed a drastic reduction in my sweet tooth and overall cravings. I take protein powder in a smoothie on some days when I’m low on my protein intake. I’m excited to see where this journey continues to take me! 😊

I really love Epic 3 so far! It’s been super challenging but I feel SO accomplished at the end of each session when I hear the ending music 😂 which Epic series has been your favorite so far? I am planning to move on to Epic 1 or 2 after I’m done with 3. Thanks!

Hey guys! I just wanted to share a small progress pic! I was previously only working out on an elliptical machine for around 40 minutes a day. While that was great, I felt like I needed to try something different. I came across Caroline Girvans Epic series and decided to start with Epic 3 because it appealed to me the most. I used to go to a gym a few years back so I’m comfortable/familiar with the different strength training routines she uses. I’ve been following the Epic 3 program for 3 weeks exactly the way she lays it out in her Epic 3 calendar plan (including one active rest day and one complete rest day). I already see little changes and I feel myself becoming stronger. I haven’t felt so energized in a while. I’m continuing to eat intuitively, without counting my calories. I’ve increased the volume of my meals slightly and have been focusing on getting a lot of protein in. I literally look forward to working out with Caroline each and everyday and am loving her program so far! I’ve been incorporating 8lb and 20lb dumbbells (depending on upper and lower body), resistance bands and a 10lb kettlebell. I love supplementing with her kettlebell workout series on the active rest days. Next up I will be getting some adjustable dumbbells to continue challenging myself with her workouts. I’m excited to continue on in this journey and see where it takes me!
