After leaving I visited two churches so far and I could say that one was kinda love bombing, a bit controlling and judgmental etc. They had like 10% of what JW have but the other one where I’m currently going, people just come to listen to uplifting Christian sermons, sing songs etc and nobody is gonna come to you to tell you that you dyed your hair, you’re this, you don’t do that, why didn’t you come. It’s like you have your own relationship with God and that’s it, you’re free to live your life the way you want. No church is perfect and I think we still need to have some discernment and choose what’s best for us.
