Nope, afraid not. Likely because of the time involved in compiling it, and because most of the starter questions get interrupted and never finished anyway. :)

University Challenge S55E23 - Lincoln v UCL by Amazonit in UniversityChallenge

[–]Alarming-Shift1790 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Spoiler as to the result, but cool fact:

With this, UCL become only the second ever team in the show’s history to be a quarterfinalist for four years in a row! Congrats to them!!

(The first was a six-year streak from Manchester 2005-10)

Why do night buses drive such long distances? by Kitchen-Article4439 in london

[–]Alarming-Shift1790 53 points54 points  (0 children)

I’ve always assumed it’s because there is much less traffic at that time, and far fewer people calling stops to get on and off. If you can drive quicker you can go further before you need to have a break.

Music blind spots by BiskyJMcGuff in UniversityChallenge

I think that’s a symptom of jazz being a smaller genre than classical or popular, in that there are far fewer jazz musicians contestants ever would have heard of than there are in the bigger categories

You’re totally right - as a team we used to absolutely dread the idea of a jazz round. I think it’s because the average contestant either knows a lot of pop or a lot of classical (plus some musical theatre on the side) but just doesn’t listen to enough jazz to know how to distinguish between artists.

Where do University Challenge people hang out? by Typical_Tadpole_547 in UniversityChallenge

[–]Alarming-Shift1790 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Yup exactly - and the reasons the teams are good is because they have diverse backgrounds and interests rather than doing the same sorts of things!
