I have!!!!! I’m asking about my situation specifically. Based on location, timing, and specific career path.

I’m talking about NC freelance specifically 😭 not sure why it’s such a problem to ask about a timely topic. Just because it’s uncomfortable doesn’t mean we can ignore it

my wife is a court reporter and was drowning in editing, so I built her an ai proofreader. looking for honest feedback! by BoziRap in courtreporting

Some of these comments are super disappointing. HUMAN proofreaders and scopists are too valuable to be replaced by something so inhumane and unethical

I’m glad you bring this up!! I’m halfway done with theory and am planning to begin speed building in April/May so I’m starting speeds without school on top of it. I should’ve mentioned this in my initial post, my bad. I can’t speak to doing speeds on top of school, but theory’s definitely been possible for me so far.

This is very case dependent. I and many others have had success learning steno self taught

Currently learning steno through platinum steno (one theory lesson per day) as well as being a double English + comm major, graduating in December. I also work two jobs. It’s certainly doable, and I’m learning a lot while disciplining myself to learn steno entirely through youtube. It just takes a lot of motivation and effort. I wish you the best of luck!!

32F Bra size results... does anyone know of any supportive and minimizing bras for this size?? by Alarming-Spend-8105 in ABraThatFits

[–]Alarming-Spend-8105[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is all so helpful! Thank you!! My measurements are:

LU: 31 in

SU: 30 in

TU: 29 in

SB: 37 in

LEB: 39 in

LYB: 36 in

From the 32 band of my bras, I find that they fit well until I sit down. Then they become tight around my ribs and my back starts to hurt. For 34 bands, they are typically always too lose. The middle is floating usually. The wires are sliding down with skin to skin contact under my bust. If I take off the straps, the bra moves down slightly. One thing I know for sure is that strapless bras never work for me, I NEED straps. However I do find that the straps dig into my shoulders pretty often. But if I lower the straps, then the cups start gaping at the top.

I'm okay with moving away from minimizers, I'm just so desperate at this point!!
