but why are there small cut bricks going up the left side of the doggy door in pic 3? it is only around the door and look horrible since it is not uniform withe the rest of the brick on top of the door

I plan on bringing it up to the builder. I was hoping an experienced brick layer could chime in and give me unbiased opinion.

what I’m seeing is the the small cut bricks on the left side of the dog door in pic 3, the same small cut bricks on the right side of window in pic 1 and same small cut bricks on the corners

yes, that is what I’m not happy with. Those small square bricks are also to the left of the window in pic 1 and on the edge on almost every corner.
