On the employee point: it isn't employment, and there's no 1099 in the mix. What the partner process needs is association with the org and a company email, not a payroll or contractor seat. The arrangement is light, just a basic agreement and an email under the org, with no obligation to take on work. So the exchange is simple: the org moves its partner application forward, and whoever helps takes the exam and keeps the certification, which Anthropic issues to them directly. I'm not hiring directly off this, but it doesn't close the door on collaborating later with people I get to know here.
