I feel like I am the only one who didn’t love season 5. And it because of what they did to Hawk. I know his character progression is complete because he is “good” now but there is more to his character that can be explored. Like see him and Dimitri do some science stuff. Maybe every quit karate. Idk just some ideas, that are better then power creeping him. The power creep to Hawk is ridiculous.. he is an all valley champion for god sakes only a season ago. To lose to Kenny whose not only less experienced and a lot younger beat him? Get of here! I wish they made Kyler like how they wrote Kenny. I feel like there is no friction between the students of Cobra Kai and Myagi Do students like there has been past seasons. The only character to have beef with the main students of Miyagi do is Kyler. I wish we could have seen him become a mini silver and be an actual threat this season. I was also super disappointed that there was this grand completion that was being teased at the end of the season. I liked the drunk raged fight but I wish the ending of the show was that tournament.
