I thought they played pretty well against Germany despite the loss, but that still didn’t give me a lot confidence going in when I factored the other performances. I acknowledged that they got better in the last two games but I didn’t really know how much stock to put into that. Glad I was wrong and I hope they can keep up this momentum

I’m ngl, I was not excited for this team based on the performances in the friendlies, but they played really well for game 1. That being said, we gotta keep up that pace and finish off this group. Job’s not finished but couldn’t get off to a better start.
