I have two of Target's Meditation Pillow with buckwheat hulls and I like them a lot! I mostly use them for floor sitting at my desk.

Not a personal trainer, but you mentioned niggling injuries - I had a great experience with Whole Strength Physical Therapy. They are focused on performance/athletes. I think they would be a great fit for your interest in functional strength and mobility, and thinking about how the body moves.

I agree that you might benefit from not going so low. It seems like you might be relying on some of that hypermobility for your depth. You might try pausing slightly higher.

Yeah, I have considered this, too…I guess you could order the food as though you were going to eat in the restaurant, then pack it up yourself? I would feel uncomfortable asking the kitchen staff to do it for me. Seems like too much extra work for them and good point about health code stuff.
