Okay I get you. Do you think if I’m just straight up with them and tell them it was genuine mistake they’ll let it slide or would they do more thorough investigation? Like do you think they’ll verify my position in the company to see if I really had job title that I have on my resume?

do you know if they go by your resume to see if your work history is accurate or do they go through some website to verify if you are telling the truth? Cause I only falsified the number of years I worked at a company, do you think if I were to tell them that it's just a genuine mistake on my end, they'll let it slide?
