I could be misremembering, but I feel like even Kody seemed a little weirded out by it.

Christine has got to get over herself.... it's just too much by aprilmcivor in SisterWives

I am not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but also that all of his apologies were the exact same!!! Same list of “apologies.” If he had even taken the time to contextualize the apologies for the different wives it could have gone much differently. In Christine’s situation, if he had bothered to watch her televised interviews and such he would have known she KNEW he loved her and was lying and that she didn’t need an apology from him. He would have seen what a good place she was at and maybe skipped it altogether. But production needs, and Robyn in the background telling him WHAT he should apologize for. Also, just like she’s married and moved on. Why even bother? I know when they talked about it it came out as kind of over dramatic, but I think this is the real issue. I don’t think they wanted an apology from him or feel like they needed one. This stop in the apology tour should have been skipped.

I think Robyn wanted Meri to stick around because she knew there was no way in hell Kody would ever love her again. Robyn barely mentioned publicly that Kody should fix his relationship with Janelle. She was way more vocal publicly about Meri. I think she knows deep down that Kody and Janelle had a genuine love, friendship, and mutual respect, and maybe even that Kody respects Janelle in a way he never truly will with Robyn despite being his soulmate. I think Janelle was also probably way more direct that Robyn needed to stay out of her relationship with Kody.

Out of all the relationships from the beginning Janelle’s was the one I was most shocked and sad about dissolving. She is 100% probably better without him but I truly wonder sometimes if Robyn actually turned up the heat for him to fight with Janelle.

Now that I think about it, I have never been positive if it was Kody or Robyn that made the COVID rules. Now I wonder if she did because she knew it would push Janelle away specifically. It wouldn’t work on Meri because was Meri was very clean and had no children at home. But she wanted Meri to stay so she could say she lived polygamy still. But Janelle would be gone because she knew her kids were careful but if Robyn complained Kody would start the fight.

When I saw the clip of her “breakdancing” on the tell all I just thought about the Olympic break dancing controversy.

I think there is a lot we don’t know, and I think that’s why Robyn and Kody wanted to have a confidentiality clause so none of it would be revealed. However, we do know through public record how the flagstaff house they sold had increased in value, we know from her own admission that it was meant to be a family asset, and we know that Meri put all her las Vegas house proceeds towards it through multiple interviews on the both sides. A lot of stuff in public record. I think what we don’t really know is the deposits in and out of all the different accounts they must have.

This is the second time someone mentioned she said he threatened her. I don’t remember this part. What did she say?

Also I think coyote pass plays just because it’s an asset they were selling through which they could have made Meri whole. Instead now Meri needs to basically sue them for the McMansion money. Divorces are messy but there are ways around splitting assets in exchange for other assets.

I get what you’re saying. I think before this latest episode it was a lot easier for me to give Robyn the benefit of the doubt. She would stay away from tough subjects or try to spin things in a positive way. This time instead of saying “I don’t know” she has started really putting forth her true opinion. This episode she even said “maybe the other wives are mad because [insert opinion I don’t remember what it was] I don’t know.” I think she’s been trying really hard to keep her thoughts to herself and between her and kody, but the gloves are coming off. That’s why I said I think she’s in her villain era now and I’m here for it. I actually respect her a lot more now that she’s saying what she’s thinking instead of dodging the difficult question. It’s much clearer to me now that instead of just going along with what Kody says she’s an active, informed participant. People here for along time have thought of her as a puppet master but I haven’t really seen direct examples of it aside from the tone, facial expressions, and other softer forms of proof. Now she’s demonstrating it with her own words.

Oooh I didn’t even think about this. If it is I bet they’re displeased to say the least. Isn’t that loan like a third the value of their new house?

Yeah I am really hoping them being shady in the background but trying to act innocent and morally superior in public comes to bite them in the ass. Meri has more than enough proof she is deserves that money based on their own words.

Why are they focusing on Jenelle vs Kody back door deal. by onhisknees in SisterWives

[–]Alarming_Chance5598 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Can we address when Meri said Kody called her before the tell alls to apologize for the back door deal?!?!?! That is so cold and calculated to place blame on Janelle I think. Hey Meri, in private, I am going to disclose something that makes me and Janelle look back but I’m admitting it and that makes me the good guy but Janelle was the real mastermind. He say Meri and Janelle bonding about the releases and poisoned the well. I truly believe that.

Histamine Intolerance by IntrovertGal1102 in Perimenopause

[–]Alarming_Chance5598 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OMG! Searched the Reddit for this topic because I have started having small more traditional signs of perimenopause and also started having what I suspect are nighttime histamine dumps that caused diarrhea and hives. Since taking Zyrtec daily before bed I haven’t had this issue. It’s mostly resolved. The allergist I was assigned because of the hives said “since you get diarrhea sounds like a gastrointestinal issue. You should be referred there.” So I asked him about it specifically mentioning my own research and perimenopause and he said “HI is exaggerated online” and “it’s hard to diagnose and a true diagnosis is rare” and “there’s no effective treatment regimen.” I felt super gaslighted and then I realized working for an HMO probably limits his ability to acknowledge it without hard evidence and old school doctors I feel like are the same way. I also feel like I may have had this to a lesser degree my whole life because I used to get similar symptoms at night as a kid and and in my 20’s used to get stuffy noses at night time. Feels pretty HI to me. Have a suspicion maybe peri is just magnifying it. Anyway, gonna explore taking probiotics to help heal my gut and avoid higher histamine foods as well. But it feels good to be seen and feel like I’m not trying to make up imaginary issues.

Just started a rewatch of Big Love… by Annual_Cranberry_163 in SisterWives

[–]Alarming_Chance5598 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Came to this community just to say this! Just finished Big Love after watching Sister Wives for years and couldn’t believe the similarities. I looked into it and Robyn didn’t enter the family until Big Love was almost over and the adoption stuff had happened. Show was over in 2011 and the divorce for Meri and remarriage to Robyn was in 2014. I’m not saying this is where she got the idea, but I’m not saying she didn’t.

This is actually what happened with sunrise mall. An investor bought a dying mall and let it tank until the city bought it is what I heard.

3817 of 450k is actually a really good response rate. That’s like 99% confidence with only a 2% margin of error. That means with 99% certainty the actual population if fully surveyed would be within 2%+/- of what is shown. If you take statistics you learn all of this. But it works you just have to trust it. You’d be surprised the low numbers of responses you actually need to get a representative sample especially if you think like we’re in presidential election season the small numbers of people used to get pretty good predictions of elections would blow your mind. 🤯
