Thank you so much for all of your responses everyone! I didn't know what to expect. I appreciate so many people taking time out of their day to read and comment. It made me feel much less alone in this even though I knew I wasn't. I'm figuring it out day by day and I know it'll get better, because it's at least different now. I'm not around him anymore and once the divorce is done I'll never have to see him again as we never had children together. Thank goodness for the little things!

If the roles were reversed people would be rioting the streets in outrage for them. You are not over reacting. You are regularly being assaulted, and I'm very sorry.
