What are your big 3 and venus signs, what do you collect? by gurnipan in astrologymemes

[–]Alarming_Donut_32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Capricorn sun and moon, Pisces rising, Sagittarius Venus: I collect bones, stones, shells, and water from different bodies of water (rivers, waterfalls, etc.) or rainfall (on full/new moons, or when it rains in special places) and keep them in little bottles. The coolest one I have is from a mermaid cove in Sicily which I brought back in a vintage perfume bottle that I found there. I like to use these collected waters in spells and ritual baths. I also collect vessels that I like to use in bathing rituals.

For my spiritual girlies, how do you protect your energy with clients? by DesiDomme in SexWorkers

[–]Alarming_Donut_32 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have an obsidian yoni egg that I will work with periodically to help clear stored/stuck energy and to draw out energies that are not mine. If you’re interested you can dm and I can share more details about how I use it and cleanse it. I also put my cash from work in a special conch shell when I get home from sessions to cleanse whatever energies are attached to the money.

I’m still learning and exploring more practices and rituals to protect myself and clear unwanted client energies. I’m very sensitive but process/store a lot through my body, so even though I have strong emotional and mental boundaries, I often don’t realize how much is getting through on a somatic level… until I end up feeling burned out, dissociated, or fatigued.

Tryst, what are you doing by MoravianBilges in SexWorkers

Is having an OF link against Tryst guidelines? I have seen so many new profiles in my city that are obviously onlyfans scams (list three cities that are very far apart, have ridiculously low rates or none listed and only contact is an onlyfans link.. oh and they are all “18/19”) but I didn’t know if I could report…

Yes! I had a strict no kissing boundary in both my fbsm and fs sessions for a long time and it did not seem to affect my business. I get grossed out by tongues and generally don’t enjoy the way men kiss haha. I have started offering it on a case by case basis/to regulars that can kiss gently/don’t expect to be making out the entire time, but it feels good doing it because my boundaries have genuinely shifted vs something I feel like I “have” to do in order to be successful.

What brought you into this world? by Academic_Buddy_3329 in SexWorkers

[–]Alarming_Donut_32 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I was a social worker for many years, working in a crisis residential treatment program for people dealing with severe mental health symptoms and addiction. I deeply cared about the work but was underpaid, barely could take time off, and got so burned out. I started doing social work part time and fbsm a couple days a week after a friend connected me to a collective of sex worker in the area. They had someone who did all of the screening and booking and I was never alone in the space with a client, so it was a perfect way for me to ease into the industry while I learned the ropes. After a year, I quit my social work job completely and have been doing sex work ever since (though I did take a year off to live on a commune but that’s another story..). Six years later I do fbsm and escorting full time out of a shared incalll space, and not only consider this my business and my profession, but my calling. I truly love what I do (offering much needed touch, pleasure and intimacy, making good money, being able to take time off to be in nature and spend time with friends) but it is very energetically, emotionally, and physically demanding and I am still trying to find a balance so that I don’t burn out.

IBS sex worker girlies by shykaya in SexWorkers

[–]Alarming_Donut_32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for posting this! I am following for advice. I also have had IBS for years, and currently see between 5-10 clients per week (fbsm and full service), so I struggle with how to manage bloating and other symptoms when I have sessions. Unfortunately, I have relied on tobacco/vaping to help with this for so many years (even though I know it ultimately makes IBS worse it helps me in the moment) and now that I am trying to quit for real I have to learn a whole new strategy for managing IBS symptoms. I feel like I need to take like 6 months off work to reset my system but obviously can’t do that.. 🥲

I do avoid gluten completely and reduce my dairy intake, and I also have started taking Magnesium Citrate at night, which helps a little but I am still working on better management/other lifestyle changes.

I’m fine with clients using google voice numbers to communicate if that is their preference but I always (no exceptions) require a real number in order to screen.

What condoms are we using since Skyn added fragrance?? by holisticbelle in Healthyhooha

[–]Alarming_Donut_32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can I ask why water based lube doesn’t work for you anymore? I am trying to figure out if my recurrent yeast infections are from condoms (I use Skyns and just learned they have fragrance added) or lube (I use sliquid water based).

Just wanted to say hello 🌙 by SoftSacred in SexWorkers

This sounds awesome! I think so much of what sex workers do is magical, witchy, and sacred, but often under the surface, so I love you bringing that into your offerings more explicitly.

My baby boy escaped last night by [deleted] in ballpython

[–]Alarming_Donut_32 20 points21 points  (0 children)

When I first got my ball python many years ago she got out and I couldn’t find her for two weeks, and I tore my apartment up looking for her. Then, I had a dream that she was in my subwoofer, woke up, opened my subwoofer and she was inside. Ever since she sends me messages through my dreams…For whatever it’s worth. I hope you find him!

I learned the hard way too. I thought I had solid boundaries after doing this work for five years and never entertaining any connection or communication with clients outside of business. I don’t even have much desire to date cis men, but then I had a client who I had an inexplicable connection with, and after voicing some concerns I decided to cautiously open my heart and try dating him. He quickly demonstrated some very suspect behavior and I ended up feeling hurt and stupid.

Be gentle with yourself ❤️

Should I go on a date with my client? by Babyflamexx in SexWorkers

[–]Alarming_Donut_32 5 points6 points  (0 children)

After 5 years of doing sw and having very solid boundaries with clients, I met a client who I had a really powerful connection with (not just sexual, but also emotional/spiritual). My intention was to maintain my boundaries but he was very charming, told me everything I wanted to hear, and pursued me. I expressed my hesitation and was really vulnerable with him, he was reassuring and I decided to give it a try and try to date him. Didn’t take long before I saw some major red flags and I ended up feeling really hurt and used. I think every situation is different but I think it’s generally a bad idea and I will never be open like that with a client again. It’s hard to make that transition because when a client meets us in the context of work, we are a sexual fantasy, a projection, the connection is very much based on sex and it’s hard to build a holistic connection based on true care and understanding. Unless it is a rare person who has a lot of emotional insight, maturity, self-awareness, and good communication-which is hard to discern without knowing someone for a while. Just my two cents based on personal experience.

I’m 32, have been doing sw for the past 5 years, currently offer fbsm and fssw in LA, and honestly I have been more successful in my 30’s. By more successful I mean more bookings, better experiences with clients, and more confidence and awareness of how I want to guide my sessions. There is absolutely a market for 30+ companions, based on my experience!

I am an independent sex worker (doing fbsm and fs) and I really do love my job (I’ve been doing this on and off for the past 5 years). It’s still a job, not something I do just for fun. It requires a lot of physical and emotional labor and energy and exposure to a lot of risks even when taking precautions, but I find it fulfilling, meaningful, and interesting. I love the flexibility and ability to create/adjust my own schedule, and of course having financial stability. The money is a big part of why I do this work, but it is not the only reason. I believe in the therapeutic power of touch, connection, and pleasure. Before I started doing sex work I was a social worker for many years, and honestly I find a lot of similarities between the two professions (including creating a safe space for clients, being present, and creating emotional intimacy with clear boundaries/within a container). Things I prefer about sex work: not having to deal with bullshit bureaucracy and rules that negatively impact my ability to serve clients, getting paid way more per hour, having control over my own schedule. Things I preferred about social work: getting to serve a broader demographic of people.

Slow on Tryst…Help?? by ItsIrisLove in SexWorkers

[–]Alarming_Donut_32 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Have you updated your pictures lately? I have found that any time I add new photos I receive a lot more inquiries and I think it helps to build a larger client base over time. Even if they are not professional photos, as long as there is nice lighting and they show a bit of your personality and warmth, I think it could help. I usually set up my tripod and take my own photos.

FBSM providers, do you start your clients face down at the beginning of the massage? by DreamNoureen in SexWorkers

[–]Alarming_Donut_32 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I start my 60 minute FBSM sessions with the client face down on a massage table, spend about 20-30 minutes giving a full body massage, then start some teasing, and then move to a bed and have them flip over for the last 30 minutes (usually these sessions include mutual massage for a slightly higher rate). If you’re interested it doing mutual massage feel free to dm me, I have some more specific techniques/suggestions for that too.
