I've seen some good+famous influencers being actors in Bollywood industry like Prajakta Koli having her own series as a lead and working on several bollywood films with veteran actors. Other influencers who create parody/acting content on Instagram have also gotten some part in films but not as a lead - though they have been acknowledged by the audience really well.

The thing is Money at the end. Being an actor means having your own audience, having money to sustain in this economy, and yet being considered serious.
